Very good microphone. No feedback distortion.
I purchased this for my church audio system because the mic we had was very old and subject to feedback squeal when other mics were turned on. We have had no feedback squeal or distortion and the pastor can be heard clearly with the mic attached to shirt or lapel at approximately 8 - 10 inches below his face.

Thought it had XLR connectivity!
As a "novice" in sound design, I'm obviously no audio engineer. The connection seemed eerily similar to an XLR connection. Most recently, I purchased the Tascam DR-40X for recording videos, and I thought that I could run this lav mic through the Dr-40X to get that different audio that comes with using a lav mic instead of a stereo mic.Obviously, I forgot to read the listing entire, but I'm shure (pun intended, obviously) that this works exceptionalyl well with the wireless transmitters from SHURE.

Excellent little microphone for the Shure bodypacks
It's a great, inexpensive replacement for the Shure microphones for their bodypacks. It looks nice, has a windscreen and clip. Even comes in a nice plastic case to keep track of it all. However, keep a close eye on the clip. It's pretty tight, you might want to insert a flat blade in there and open in a little as it pinches that microphone cable really tight, leaving a mark that might end up breaking the cable. Other than that, it's great. I wouldn't use it for theater as much as I will use it for business/corporate PA events. Just remember the 8" rule. Always keep the microphone within 8" of the mouth. Somewhere just below the neckline, but above the bust.

Good sounding mic
The media could not be loaded. I got this mic as a backup/standby to have in case a name brand mic stopped working. It is small and may be easily hidden when used in a theater or live video session. I was surprised at the sound quality; this little mic sounds as good as a more expensive name brand. This is an omni directional condenser; phantom power is required. The termination is TA4F, making this mic compatible with analog 4 pin Shure body packs. A clip is included in the package to secure the mic in place. The mic comes in a hard plastic container that provides a sturdy way to store the device when not in use.

Perfect replacement for my damaged mic
The cord on my original mic was damaged and I needed a replacement. With the SHURE name brand being quite expensive, I thought I'd try this brand out and I was not disappointed. I use it for simple live speakings, weddings and seminars. Works just as good as the OEM but at a fraction of the cost. Plug n play, like it should be.
