Q: Can I use a laminator?

Hi there! The MINC Reactive Foil works directly with the MINC Foil Applicator Machine. We can not guarantee a perfect foil if it is not used with the MINC. The differences between a laminator and the MINC is that a laminator is created for sealing. The heat is hotter along the edges to get a good seal but not enough pressure and heat in the middle of the machine for a good foil. A laminator has 2 rollers to roll projects through. The way a MINC works is that it has 4 rollers - 2 rollers on the top and 2 on the bottom with heat across the entire machine to get even heat and pressure every time. However, the MINC can also laminate but will do the job even better due to the even heat across the entire laminating pouch! It is one of the many reasons why we love the MINC Foil Applicator Machine.
