Delta = Well Made
A really nice looking widespread vanity faucet. Lovely brushed nickel finish. This is a replacement for an older faucet (not Delta) that was beginning to give us problems. Everything about this faucet is well made. The plumber mentioned the ease of installation.

Good faucet
It was well made and pretty. I had to return it as my plumber said that the connection from the faucet to the drain connection thingy (my words not his - I don’t remember the technical term he used) was too short for my sink. I wish it had been able to work for me as I think it was prettier than the one I ended up having installed.

Really should be 3 1/2 stars
This faucet looks pretty. It does NOT look like oil-rubbed bronze. It does, in a general way, The majority of the faucet is black, and shinier than oil rubbed bronze, which has a brownish, matte finish. The "underlying" metal here is copper in appearance, not the bronze color that the other fixtures in the bathroom are. If you were to match it to other fixtures in the same line, I'm sure you would be fine. My problem is that it does not match the oil rubbed bronze fixtures.The faucet itself seems to be well made. It is sturdy, and quite heavy. On the other hand, I installed an American Standard faucet in another bathroom six months ago, and I found myself constantly comparing this faucet to that one. The American Standard faucet was a breeze to install. Everything fit together well, the directions were clear, there were directions to make adjustments to the angle of the handles. It was a simple process, no looking back at the directions to make sure I had done something right, just in and done. Also, the American Standard faucet included supply hoses, for a faucet of the same price.Installing this faucet was a game of second guesses. The connections just weren't as elegant. For example, the sink stopper mechanism bumps into the hoses in my VERY tight space under my sink, causing it to catch when I try to use it. It works, but barely. I thought that there must be something weird with my sink, because the lever almost bends to connect to the stopper mechanism, but my brand new sink is standard. Part of this is because of the very stiff hoses that connect the hot and cold water handles to the faucet itself. The lack of flexibility just doesn't work in the tight space. They also made it difficult to even make the connections.The directions indicated the handles needed to be installed with the copper pipes facing the outer side of the holes. When I did this, one handle was at a different angle from the other. In order to make the handles symmetrical, I had to move the position of the supply pipes, which in turn made it more difficult to attach the stiff hoses. If there is a way to change to position of the handles (as there is in the American Standard faucet), it isn't in the documentation.Also, as another reviewer mentioned, one of the handles is a little loose. I tried to tighten it down, but there doesn't seem to be any way to fix it.I do like the angle of the faucet. Our American Standard faucet is not as high, and when the water is at a low pressure, it spills on the counter under the faucet itself. I had to train my family to wipe the sink after every use. This faucet, however, does not have that problem. The water goes in the sink, period.Overall, this is a decent faucet. Would I buy it again? Probably not. I'm just concerned about inflexible hoses and unadjustible faucet handles, especially once the seats start to wear. That said, I did not return it to buy another. Now if only it matched the other oil rubbed bronze in the bathroom...

Excellent 8" spread faucet that works well for smaller vanities - definite Delta quality produce
As other reviewers have stated, this product, when bought from Amazon, comes with metal parts, not plastic. I needed a new faucet with 8" spread to fit a Home Decorators 31" Belvedere White Vanity with a gray/white marble top. Because it's not a very large vanity, most of the faucets with an 8" spread had a faucet that arched up too high or extended too far out (my vanity has a round porcelain sink set into a square top, not a wide square sink). My plumber said it took him about 20 minutes to install this. It works perfectly and there's no excess splashing as the water flows nicely down towards the drain in my oval sink. It's simple, tasteful and works. I could not find a towel bar to match, but the faucet finish and style works very nicely with Delta's Windemere line of bathroom accessories (which I also bought from Amazon as they had the best price and available stock.). I also like that this has a built in water saver feature so I should be using 20% less water.

Out with the GOLD, in with the new.
Brushed Nickel looks so much better.We're remodeling our master bath, taking out all the GOLD fixtures and replacing with more understated, yet more stylish brushed nickel. This faucet was VERY easy to install. It took me longer to remove the old fixture than to put this one in. Does NOT come with water hookups, you'll have to buy them separately, but you should be buying braided steel ones anyway. Everything in my house in from 1992 and is contractor grade (CHEAPEST). I'm about done upgrading everything in the whole house.You'll like this faucet set.

very stiff handles
I purchased two widespread faucets in stainless steel, during Amazon Prime Day. I installed the first unit this afternoon. The installation is straight forward assuming you are don't have trouble removing the old faucet. The turning mechanism on the both the cold and hot water side was already stiff and not smooth right out of the box. I thought that after I install the faucet and run water through the faucet, that the handles would loosen up. That was not the case. It feels like there is metal rubbing against metal somewhere inside the handle. I called Delta customer support using the number found on the outside of the box. After pressing a few numbers to get directed to the right department, I was connected to a pleasant fellow. I gave him the model number number and he began directing me how to take apart the handles. I told him that these are brand new units and that the end user should not have to fix a problem from stiff handles. He suggested that I return the units to Amazon. My faucet was also missing one of the U-shaped locking mechanism that holds the water spout to the sink. The installation manual shows two U-shaped metal holders that are placed underneath the sink to hold the water spout in place. My package only came with one. It did not seem so important but the stiff handles are unacceptable. I wasted almost two hours. I also bought two new supply lines and I generally don't like to reuse the supply lines.
