If you want reliable, non-smelly, easily usable and well-packaged firelighters, these are just the ticket. They can be poked into the laid fire afterwards, or if you're very organised, beforehand! But you can be sure they will light first time, and last easily long enough to light your open fire or woodburner. The barrel boxes contain a goodly supply of firelighters (100 in each) and are well-designed to fit safely and neatly in reach of the fireplace. One firefighter is usually ample to light our woodburner, and only if the main logs are a bit damp from rain do I ever put a second in to make sure the kindling takes very well indeed. These are by a long chalk the best firelighters we've ever used, and I shall continue buying this brand for as long as they remain available!

I buy these often they were recommended and I have never been disappointed , I have a big stove so usually stick two in and most of the time my stove lights . They don't have a smell and are very easy to store , I recently tried another bio type ones which were just not so good .

I love these fire starters, i have used the fire starters that normally comes in a big slap and you break bits off for years. These are better by miles. No mess and easy to light. Great for my wood burning stove i put two in at a time for best effect.

Gave these lighters as a gift to someone with a wood burner and he liked them so much he asked for more. One little lighter starts his fire with a tiny bit of kindling and very little effort and no smell. Very useful on the bbq too. Recommended.

not looking for anything else for firelighters. This is, so far, the very BEST ones on the market (I tried so many types of firelighters before!)I use them all the time to start the fire in my woodburner. They don't smell and they work perfectly well. Excellent box to keep them in too.

These are the best firelighters I have tried and no smell of paraffin as with the cheap pound store ones. Also if I buy two they were 20% cheaper than our local Log burner store with postage included I normally use only one if a good draught but some days I use two.

Fantastic! Won't buy anything else now for either our log burner or open fire. Economical and clean. Handy tub makes them easy to store. They don't like being dropped however and will go out if you do but carefully handled stay lit and light a fire in no time.
