My goal was to gang four solar panels to one generator. These Y-connectors let me do that. It upped the power going to the generator and cut the charging time. Goal achieved!

I was looking for the ability to have multiple inputs in one of my solar power stations that use Anderson connectors. It's a single input and I wanted to have multiple connections between a solar panel and a car power port. This short cable splitter does exactly that. Plus the boots that cover the red and black connectors can be easily pushed back if you need the change the configuration of the connectors from top-to-bottom to side-to-side. On some other cables I had to actually cut the vinyl boot to get it to move.Not overpriced and does what I need

They'll work for their purpose. I purchased three of these "Y" cables. One of them had the sets of power poles assembled in a different pattern.Power poles are not Anderson and I doubt you could intermix them with OEM Andersons to make up sets of connectors.Connectors are not welded or glued together so you can slide back the heatshrink and rearrange them if you need to mate with a different pattern. I tried to use an OEM Anderson lock pin with these connectors but they don't work with these non-OEM connectors.They do mate OK when connected (plugged in to) OEM connectors. The wires are the specified 14 gauge and are reasonable flexible.Overall a decent "Y" that doesn't require much labor on your part. I used thin super glue to lock the connector pairs as they slide by each other easily. If you do this check their orientation pattern is correct for your application BEFORE gluing! (don't ask how I know this).

Now I should be able to run 2 panels at once.

I use this with my solar panel to charge 2 things at the same time..
