Old Maid

Bought for my granddaughter aged 9 this has proved to be such a fun purchase. I told her I could remember playing this as a child and so we made the purchase. Nobody wants to be the 'Old Maid' so the attempts to avoid getting the card and the greater, and sneakier, attempts to fool somebody into picking the card have caused a lot of hilarity! Also, the pack is well portable and would be easy to take on holiday or on visits to friends and grandparents. Well worth the price!

This must be my five year old's favourite game. So very simple it can be picked up by younger children with some support. Unfortunately my daughter thinks it is cool to end up with the old maid and tries to hold on to it when you are picking a card from her. All in all we have had great fun with this game which is small enough to be tucked into a suitcase and yet still provide great enjoyment.

This proves that you don't have to spend a fortune to have fun. My five year old absolutely loves this and never tires of playing. The cards are good quality and size and it is the perfect game for passing the time anywhere and everywhere - I never leave home without it. Suitable for any number of players of all ages.

Out 7 year old grandson is playing Uno and our 5 year old granddaughter wanted to play it too. Only problem is she can't read yet. So I remembered this game from when I was a child so I bought it for them to play together and they love it.

Really nice quality cards at a ridiculously cheap price. Arrived very quickly and have happily replaced a miniature and flimsy pack from a Christmas cracker. The children can easily play this by themselves (5 and 8) although it's obviously more fun with 3 or more

great game for the family andother children who have played this with us have had fun too. you don't want to select the old maid card and my 9 year old daughter needs to practice keeping a neutral facial expression when she does

I was looking for a card game that we could all play. My children are 7 and 5, they both love it even though a little cheating goes on. Would recommend this simple game, great fun for the whole family.

Bought this as a xmas present, so not opened yet. Expecting it to be the same as it has been for many yrs.

This old maid game is great for young children because it has colors designating different families plus the old maid is funny looking… my 6 year old grandson can play tje game on his own.

Very nice card game for the whole family. My kids loved it and now insist that we play it every day with them. This has become a fun filled bedtime routine for us now. Nice to see such games that can keep the whole family engrossed and encourage more quality time. Dont think...just buy!
