BEAUTIFUL DESIGN AND SMOOTH FEELThis was a most pleasant surprise in a parcel that arrived. I really love this hand crafted corkscrew. It looks exactly as advertised very beautiful design and looks delicate. It has a really nice feel to hold. Easy to work out and doesn't slip while opening wine. When I'm in front of guests, I do not want all the attention on me unscrewing the cork from the corkscrew. This pull has a wonderful, soft, hefty, manageable feel to it. A little plus: The narrow, minutely serrated-edge blade pulls out with the help of a fingernail. With other corkscrew openers, pushing the opener into the bottle can hurt your hands, This was very easy to put the wine opener in the bottle and pull the cork out of the bottle. It's portable and convenient. Our family use it not only at home but also when camp. All the bottle openers I’ve had in the past are very cheap and tacky and almost break after opening the cork like 2 times. This one is the complete opposite it’s made of luxury material and really gets the grip of the cork and allows little effort and pressure. However I do feel that the price is very high for something that only provides one strict purpose. I’ve seen many other bottle opened with more than 1 function at the same price so I would definitely take into account the price and purpose before purchasing.

This is heavy, well made and the detail is excellent. It's a beautiful product especially for a £10. I use one of these a lot and both the bottle opener (which is a lift type not a push down type) and the corkscrew ar excellent. The corkscrew has a channel going down the entire spine and that allows air in to release any vacuum in the cork screw hole. It comes off so easily.Not too much more I can say other than if you need a corkscrew/bottle opener go no further. this one just works great.We had a dinner party the other day and I left this on the table whilst I poured the wine, it was passed around and admired. Everyone though it looked hand made.

I bought this to replace our old and bent bottle opener. I wanted to buy a premium product, so decided to spend a bit more. As far as my casual user knowledge goes, it is well made, the materials have got a heavy, quality feel to them. Opening bottles is easy and smooth, a pleasure to use. The packaging does not exactly scream quality, so it could be improved. Fair quality at a fair price, could not have expected better.

I'm used to old and flimsy plastic corkscrews. So this was a good upgrade for me as it's real sturdy in comparison, actually looks nice and is much easier to use overall. The price is a bit much for what is offered but you get what you pay for and I can imagine for a lot of people, myself included, this is is something you only really want to buy one of, one that will last. So this works great for me!

Be warned, this bottle opener as mentioned in some other reviews is on the big size - good if you've got big hands. Rosewood inlay adds to the overall feel of quality. Only downside, it doesn't have a bottle opener function on it.

This is even more beautiful than I thought it would be. Really nice quality and is enormous! The would handle sides aren't finished or stained, but I like it. The double step was what I wanted it for and it works great.
