Don't hesitate to buy this gate! This is, by far, the best one I've purchased.What I loved about this initially, was the option to have pressure mounted or screw mounted. (I've used pressure with pads etc supplied) The additional support plates, which click on easily, have made such a difference in ensuring the gate is secure on the bottom step (something the majority of gates don't offer) Having the metal tool in the aid of tightening the bolts at each end was also a huge help, making the whole process of erecting the gate seamless. It also came with two separate extendable parts ( one 7cm & one 14cm) for different width fittings. Instructions were very clear & easy to understand. ( There are 4 different options on the instructions showing which extendable section to use for your width opening. There is one which doesn't need them, yet very handy to have nonetheless)The gate itself is very well put together & built to last.Having two boys with additional needs & a very hyperactive dog, I have the best of both worlds from PawHut!

After problem with the carrier cancelling my order the gate fitted perfectly at the top of stairs (after a new stair carpet), The light colour and easy use & design of central panel are appreciated both by me and Marley my loving rescue cat!

We bought 2, not for kiddies, but to stop our Maine coons from going in the lounge where the wife as all her plants which are toxic to cats. So one on top of the other did the trick. Happy days, 10 out of 10

We had bought stair gates from Facebook as we thought "it's only for the dogs!" then we bought one of these. Now we have two gates because they are so good!

This is such a lovely gate just a shame my child can climb it.
