I have been a huge Roomba fan for many many years, and this one has replaced (well, the old one is going to our caravan!) the 581 model. So impressed with it's cleaning ability, and amazed with how far they have come with intelligence of cleaning and design of the cleaning system too! There really isn't much to say, apart from it is an amazing hoover, it may seem expensive, but it is such a timesaver. We have ours running at 3am in the morning cleaning the living room, and it only takes about 30 minutes to complete, but it is so quiet too! Get to it in the morning to empty the bin, move it to another room to leave to hoover, get notified on the app when complete... rinse and repeat for as many places as needed! Great gadget I would never be without!

Great Vacuum, cleans really well if cleaning every other day. Easy to maintain. Easy to set up. Easy to use. Good suction. Isn’t brilliant at cleaning the edges but does a fair job. Suction on carpet is also good. Emptying the collection box and cleaning the filter is easy.

Awesome when it works, there is a bit of a learning curve with furniture/items that might get it stuck. Would still highly recommend it though, as it is great at maintenance vacuuming.

Bitterly disappointed with this after owning a vacuum only model for 5 years. Only had it a week and returned for a shark. I had constant error faults with the mopping until such point it wouldn’t work. Tried to go through to support but their AI just kept asking me if I still needed help every 5 seconds. Maybe it was just a bad one, but not risking all the set up on an exchange. The one time it did work, it did mop nicely, but the vacuuming is not as good as the previous, even on deep clean mode.

The algorithm for room exploration is very good. Does a comprehensive job. I have it set on a daily job and it keeps the rooms tidy and pet hair free. I am always surprised at how much stuff it manages to pick up even on a daily run.

Very impressed with this machine. Intelligent functionality and intense cleaning on both hard floors and thick carpets. Can’t see why you need to pay the extra for the 980. Bin size is critical as this is what needs most of your attention while cleaning. Also looked at Dyson but the customer service experience was very poor. So good machine and good experience- this is a winner.

I may have been unlucky with my order based on others reviews. Initially the unit was not issued with a UK plug but did come with the EU plug. Seller advised me to procure a convertor / replacement cable which I slightly disagreed with having bought this from the UK website. Contacted Amazon UK who swiftly contacted the seller, who in turn paid for a new cable. Day 1. It was so easy to setup and go. The routine to connect to the iRobot was excellent hand holding from start to finish. Once charged for 3 hours we ran it to clean on the ground floor, covering 3 large rooms some smaller rooms on the same level. The surfaces included vynl, wood, carpet and deep rug with a minor ridge between the two main rooms. What appeared to me to be random 'drunk person' staggering home did cover all areas well, including curved edges to the kitchen units which I thought would be a problem. The rug was cleaned better than when I use the upright Dyson. It is hypnotic to watch, sadly, and after nearly an hour it returned to the base. Day 2. This is the reason I present this with 3 stars. It broke down - not much to add to this beisdes after spending the best part of £800 I would have hoped for a few more days before needing to call support. The problem was that it started to clean and then went around in a small circle thinking it had sensed an edge. Support were called and they issued a return to base for repair for free. Now, I've bought similar priced products where if it's a dud on day 2 a new one is issued and they collect the old one when leaving the new one. Here you have to label up, drop off at the post office and wait a further 10 days for it to be repaired and returned. When it returns I will edit following a few more days testing. The tracking from iRobot support ticket is good but took the full 10 days to have the unit returned. Day 12 The iRobot was back in full operational mode and has continued to clean based on its schedule of events. The tracking of area cleaned is useful with it identifying areas it found dirt in. The function I find useful is cleaning the house when I’m away and it’s not scheduled to operate. One simple click on the Clean button on the app and off it goes, if only it could do the staircase as well.... Day 180 As time progresses you always find a more questions are now raised about this Roomba. Firstly, it's not broken down again. We've changed the rug in one room to a deeper, slightly higher edge, just over 1.2cm high. The Roomba now bounces onto the rug missing the very edge I wanted cleaning. Secondly the following items have caused the unit some challenges - shoes laces (not unique to this unit I know), similarly bag cords and narrow guage power leads (all of these could be easily caught up a manual vacuum cleaner with a careless operator - I would have thought there would have been some logic in their software, i.e. if the power to the movement motors and / or vacuum rollers and / or sweeping brush is increased by a percentage for more than 5 seconds then somethings gone wrong. Stop all motors and rewind activities and the same time reversing the path taken. I would estimate 30% of the time initially there were failures in completing a successful run. We now make the house Roomba friendly. Would I buy another Robotic Cleaner? - yes, without question. Would I buy another Roomba? - no, it cannot justify its price point with competition when it's not a perfect.

I wanted this bad boy for a very long time! I read lists of different products and I finally decided for this one. I am so impressed by how clean leaves the floors and how great the app is as well. The fact that I don't see fluff of dust flying on the floor is just a pleasure. I doubt could live without it now that he is part of the family

La perfección existe, gracias Roomba! En primer lugar, quiero recomendar la marca, cada día más marcas tienen modelos de robot aspirador pero por experiencias y opiniones de amigos y familiares cercanos que optaron por otra marca distinta a IROBOT no lo recomendaría, ellos no han tenido una satisfacción plena con su robot. Hace unos 5 años compré el modelo 780 dándole un uso de 2/3 días a la semana y estaba muy contenta con mi robot, pero lo usaba al mismo tiempo que iba limpiando el resto de la casa, subía sillas, recogía trastos y la encerraba en una habitación para después yo rematar con la fregona mientras hacía lo propio en otra habitación o simplemente antes de ir a trabajar la dejaba en el salón, habitación... Con las puertas virtuales o con la puerta cerrada para tenerlo limpio al llegar. A esta solamente le cambié la batería en una ocasión y volvió a parecer nueva, pero con el tiempo no me gustaba como hacía el recorrido, como se movía e iba hacía los zócalos sin disminuir la marcha. Tenía buen aspirado, y sigue funcionando pero no al 100x100. Decidí comprar una nueva y aquí es donde tuve la suerte de decidirme por esta 😄 👏. Aprovechando el PrimeDay compré este modelo que con su cámara adicional, doble pasada y gran autonomía me aspira toda la casa los lunes, miércoles y viernes 🔝. Recojo trastos y subo sillas, conectada al wifi y desde mi móvil (muy sencillo de configurar con su propia app) le mando limpiar TODA LA CASA y cuando acaba, me manda el mapa del recorrido por donde ha limpiado y pasado, dejando en blanco patas de mesa, patas de cama, muebles... Las zonas en las que el wifi llega con menor calidad ella sigue limpiando, aunque llene el depósito de suciedad acaba de limpiar igualmente y vuelve a su sitio, te envía una notificación y para conectarla otro día le tienes que vaciar el compartimento. Además y en mi casa es un punto a destacar por la caída de cabello... Los cepillos son de goma y no hay que estar desenredando pelos! 🎉🙌 Ventajas: Cepillos de goma Autonomía para una vivienda completa, en mi piso (98 metros) lo limpia de una pasada, pero para superficies más grandes vuelve a su sitio, se recarga y vuelve hasta limpiar el 100x100. Mapeo y doble pasada inigualable Remata muy bien las esquinas por su capacidad de aspiración En Roomba tienes muchos modelos y depende del presupuesto que le quieras dedicar obtendrás más o menos ventajas, si este modelo está entre tus opciones... Voor deze prijs een zeer goede robot. Echt een uitkomst, je zet hem aan als je weg bent van huis en na +-45 minuten heeft hij onze 29m^2 vloer gestofzuigd. Ik zeg er wel bij dat het handig is om hem aan te zetten als je niet thuis bent. Hij maakt namelijk veel herrie en heeft de nijging om tegen je aan te rijden. Grootste nadeel van de robot vind ik dat hij donkere vloerkleden ziet als afgrond en hier niet op wil rijden. Hierdoor slaat hij het kleed bij onze bank en onze deurmatten over. Ook is hij aardig hoog, waardoor hij niet onder onze kasten en bank past. Het feit dat deze robot slim is en dus altijd 100% van je kamer reinigt vinden we ook heel fijn. Hij rijdt dus niet doelloos rond de kamer, maar als je op hem let zie je hem echt doordachte manoeuvres maken. Als techneut is het fascinerend om naar hem te kijken. De iRobot i7 kan ook verschillende zones in je huis apart schoonmaken, maar gezien het prijsverschil toch voor deze variant gekozen. We hadden verwacht dat onze katten nooit meer terug zouden komen, maar ze zijn zelfs banger voor de normale stofzuiger dan voor de robot.

J'écrit ce commentaire après un an d'utilisation du robot. Il aspire bien et est intelligent du moins plus qu'un poisson rouge x). Sérieusement très bon niveau de finition, le robot roule droit, cartographie très bien ma maison, revient sans problème a sa base un fois le travail finit, passe partout et n'oublie aucun recoin :) . Niveau point faible il y'en a très peut : Coté mécanique il y'a une faiblesse au niveau des fils alimentant les moteur des roue, se sont de petit fils avec je pense une section trop faible car dans une de mes roue les fils on fondue ce qui a mit le robot en panne heureusement pour les bricoleur le robot est très bien penser pour facilité la maintenance. Chaque pièce vitale du robot (hors carte mère) sont sous forme de bloque : 2 pour les roues, 1 pour la brosse rotative, 1 pour le bloque d'aspiration, le baque a poussière intègre la turbine d’aspiration ... donc tout se change facilement et se procuré les bloques séparément est plutôt simple, dans mon cas les bloques roue motrice sont disponible sur amazon pour les moins bricoleur. Moi il ma juste fallu trouvé des fils et un fer a souder :). Deuxième défaut (la je chipote) est la vitesse de rotation de la brosse latérale, pour moi elle tourne un petit peut trop vite car souvent elle projette au loin les miettes légères qui on tendance a glissé sur le sols et qui ne sont donc pas aspiré par le robot. Pour résumer très très très bon robot, à adopté les yeux fermé et si vous êtes comme moi bricoleur c'est juste parfait et satisfaisant d'entretenir le robot et d'effectuer soit même la maintenance quant une panne survient même si ce n'est que très rare (1 seule fois depuis un ans).

Ho recentemente acquistato l'iRobot Roomba 960 Robot Aspirapolvere e sono rimasto letteralmente a bocca aperta per l'efficienza e le prestazioni di questo dispositivo. Questo robot aspirapolvere ha trasformato la mia routine di pulizia domestica in meglio e ha reso la mia vita molto più comoda. Una delle prime cose che ho notato è stata la tecnologia di rilevamento dello sporco Dirt Detect. Questo sistema intelligente sembra avere occhi e orecchie ovunque. Rileva automaticamente le aree più sporche della mia casa e si concentra su di esse, garantendo una pulizia completa e approfondita. I risultati sono sorprendenti: pavimenti più puliti e una sensazione di freschezza nell'aria. Le spazzole Tangle-Free sono un'altra caratteristica eccezionale. Non solo raccolgono efficacemente i detriti e i peli senza intasarsi, ma sono anche facili da pulire. Questo significa meno manutenzione e più tempo per godersi una casa pulita. Tuttavia, c'è un aspetto che vorrei fosse diverso. Mi piacerebbe avere la possibilità di selezionare una singola stanza da pulire. Al momento, il Roomba 960 opera in modalità automatica e pulisce l'intera area. Anche se è molto bravo nell'evitare gli ostacoli, sarebbe bello poterlo indirizzare direttamente verso una stanza specifica quando necessario. It has cleaned 5000 meter square of cleaning Hello this is a great robot we have a huge house with 2 bed rooms 1 hall 1 dinning room 1 kitchen and all and this robot never fails to find the way around it does takes long the first time u start it up but later it just becomes better and better our house has lots of broken tiles and stuff but it manages it greatly no connectivity issue but I did get an old firmware with the robot it updated only at night the initial firmware it came with did not support Alexa but after the update it started working great it mapped the house . Works great amazon Alexa or echo devices and works without any issue on hard Indian floor conditions it even sucked up stones haha and dirt .My mom cleans house two times a day with Lizol and it still found so much dirt and is very consistent in finding dirt I must say every time we get the robots dustbin we find something or the other . It did pick up my moms long hairs din have issues with it . But u do need to remove the long hairs after cleaning not a big issue .It dosent get stuck navigation is top notch it comes with a camera on top of the robot vaccum sucction is perfect goes on top of carpets rugs and all perfect i did think of buying. Mi robo vaccum but then i came across people and posts and threads in mi community saying that the laser guidance in mi robo vaccum fails and gives LDS error and there are thousands of posts on that do google it if ur considering xiaomi mi robot cleaner Update - It’s been 4 months we bought it and it works excellent no issues at all cleans house perfectly .
