Orajel Dental Gel

I will never ever be without a tube of this in the house for unexpected toothache. This is a lifesaver and you rub it on the gum and it feels like being numbed at the dentist. This will definitely see you through until you get to a dentist. One of my must haves!

I was recommended this product well the active ingredient by someone that had suffered from tooth ache in the past. For the price I thought its well worth a try, as getting a dentists appointment over the Christmas or new year period was going to be hard. Within mins the pain eased, and just applying this when the pain started again ensured that the severe pain didn't reoccur until it was possible to get a dentists appointment. Probably one of the most effective tooth ache remedies I've ever come across.Applying this to your teeth is as simple as putting a bit on your finger then putting it on the spot where the pain is, so make sure you put it on a finger that is going to be able to reach the spot easily.It is probably a better idea to use less than more with this gel, so try a bit, you will notice a difference straight away, but if that isn't enough, then next time you put some on, use a bit more.

I bought this because I had severe toothache with an infection & swollen face and ibuprofen and paracetamol were not doing much. I have to say this gel did not really help for the first day, but then nothing did until the pain subsided then it seemed to kick in to give immediate relief. It was only short term relief but it helped.

Great for toothache numbs the area that aches and when you are in pain you need a little gem like this so I would deffo recommend anyone buying this even just to have in incase you ever need it so it’s there for the right time as you don’t want to ever be in pain and have to suffer when you can instantly make it go away

We all have had a toothache before sometime in our lives but this time it was the most painful irritating feeling ever. It felt like someone kept smacking my face with a hammer. I was searching and searching for some kind of quick fix remedy, and was even comtemplating pulling my tooth out altogether. Then whilst reading some article on toothache medicine this orajel dental gel was mentioned. Reading other peoples sworn testimony that this gel would be the saviour I immediately purchased it without hesitation. As soon as it arrived I ripped open the package and put a big blob right where the problem area was. At first it felt like it was making it worst but after about 10 minutes the ache just stopped. It was a miracle! I will personally vouch that this product worked for me. Only downfall is the bottle is tiny and if it comes back I may only have 1 or 2 more goes before I would need to buy a top up.

This is benzocaine, so it will ONLY work on mucous membranes (gums, lips, other mucous membranes+ teeth), It appears not to work at all on normal skin. So if you are looking to anaesthetise normal skin (say, arms, or legs or hands, rather than lips or mouth), you will need a lidocaine (=lignocaine) or similar preparation, instead. This is logical when you think that doctors and hospitals usually use lidocaine and dentists tend to use benzocaine.
