Pelican 2750C LED Headlamp (Black)

Intrinsically safe. Good battery life. Has excellent pad that allows hard hat mounting without straps. Simple one press on, off function. Bright, lightweight, and rotates down in solid click increments. Perfect. Oilfield and mining approved

Nice light. Adequate brightness. Prefer on/off button to be on the side rather than top/front. Headband is a little loose even after constant adjustments. Would but again.

Settings are more than enough for what I need in a light. The band can be extended to fit around helmets, in my case, a bike helmet for night riding on mountain bike trails. Worked absolutely perfect. I was using bike lights as well because I knew this would not be bright enough which was fine with me. Would recommend.

When I first got the Pelican headlight it was difficult to turn on. The switch didn't respond at first but I kept trying and it worked. This went on for a while; I tried different angles of pushing it and anything I could think of where it might work better. It always went on. Now it works perfectly, first time every time. It holds it's angle adjustments really well. Good quality. Bright. Best headlight yet.

Good product. Pelican does it right, but this is still a bit pricey.

The Light looks nice, comes with a hard hat stick on piece in case you have a hard hat and use this for work. Has a red led for night time use to protect your night vision. There's 3 AAA batteries that come with, they're energizers and seem fresh. Excited I popped them in, the + and - symbols were a little hard for my'ol eyes to see but I found them and voila! I - thought... but no nothing happened. Multiple button presses, re-positioned batteries, in out a few times.. nope. New batteries maybe, nope. Alas, moving and swapping and pulling the batteries in and out and it came on ! Whoo Hoo I thought, it's just a poor connection with a battery. Nope. Nada, diddly.... it was on full brightness (seemed very bright) but wouldn't go to med or flashing in fact there was no response from any button pushes at all. Actually, I couldn't turn the light off. That was pretty much the end of my testing and I continued to do the Amazon Return. That's an easy process so kudos to them for that. So we'll see how fast I get another light, of course there was so called "shipping delays" from the first expected receive by date which, as most of us know, is now the norm unfortunately. The hard plastic case was broken when I pulled it out of the box - the bottom left corner was snapped off. We all know how hard it is to cut, remove, break open these super hard plastic cases, that little corner wasn't in the box the light came in (without any padding or cushioning) it was loose so I can only conclude that it was thrown or dropped prior to being tossed loose in the shipping box and that's what broke the internals. I took a photo of it before opening just in case. Anyway, I am expecting the replacement to arrive in uh hum.. 4 days... I guess we'll see then.... to be continued....

I like the simplicity of the on/off switch; you don't have go through 8 different settings to get to the one you want.
