OM SYSTEM OLYMPUS PT-058 Underwater Housing for the TG-5

Really impressed with this housing. I bought my first underwater camera and needed this housing for scuba diving and was really impressed. The directions are very thorough, it comes with accessories and most important of all, it doesn't leak. I took this down to 80 ft and not a single drop of water got it. The picture quality was good and all of the buttons on the housing actually come in contact with the buttons on the camera.

Could not find one in the City Of Houston. This was a fair price. Took into the rough Hawaiian waters of the Pacific Ocean and it performed perfectly. Order the extra silica packs for the housing to keep the moisture from condensation under control. The safety loop is lightweight. I wish it were a little more substantial for your expensive equipment.

Very easy to use - one open/close toggle with a security lock.Sturdy - slipped off a rock on my way to a dive site and housing survived without damage.Something to note - burp valve on housing is still on the small side and requires several attempts to fully displace air trapped between the housing lens and wet lens.

Perfectly designed. Makes the camera even easier to use underwater in addition to protecting it. Just READ and follow the instructions for care, preparation, and installation of the camera...

Other than being a bit pricey, although not when compared to other housings for this camera, it works great with my TG-5 and also will work with the newer TG-6 Olympus Tough. FYI, you can attach a dome port or ultra wide-angle lens to the camera. These custom accessories are available from Backscatter.com

This underwater camera housing is great. Did 11 dives in 3 days down to 60 feet and not a single drop of water inside. Only thing I don’t like is how the lens cover floats in the way while underwater. I will be putting a piece of Velcro on cap and body to hold in place for next dive.

Easy to use and gives you full functionality with all the camera features. We took it down to 110 feet and had no problems at all!

The housing fits the camera snugly. Controls appear to mesh properly with camera buttons and controls. Have not tested it in water yet, but housing seems to be a very tight lock, durable housing.
