Hi Neighbor
Bought this for my son for a comforting Hospital Prize. He was giggly excited to receive him. It is a little big for him, but he is a small dude. He cuddled with it all day today. Great toy for someone who loves DT. Great get well soon gift.

Great product, poor shipping
I think my nephew will really enjoy this gift. It would of been better had it been shipped properly.... clear bag so anyone that would want it along the way or passing my front step could of taken it and known full well what they would be getting

Remove Audio from Demo mode
The bear is so cute & the audio quality is good. But when we got it he only said 4 phrases & we thought it was broken. The instructions are inside of the bottom panel of the packing, so we didn't even know they were there. When we found them, we discovered you have to go to the battery pack & change the setting from Demo mode for him to say all 10 phrases & sing the songs. Just wanted to share this in case someone else thought there bear was broken.

Positive First Impressions
Since the reviews for this Daniel Tiger toy were mixed, I wanted to share my review of initial impressions, which are positive. First of all the toy arrived in original packaging which was enclosed in a sealed clear plastic bag (one of the pics posted). Once unwrapped from plastic bag (pic posted), I took a closer look to see that it had the stripes I was expecting from the picture on Amazon, since that was a complaint about the toy that others received- that it was without its tiger stripes. It seems very soft and cuddly. I tested the sounds by pushing the button on Daniel's paw. The sounds were clear and it sounded like Daniel Tiger's voice. No, it doesn't sing the whole theme song, but it does have other commonly used phrases from the show. Since this is a gift for my son on Christmas, I didn't completely remove it from the box and get an out-of-the-box test run from the toy with a child. I will update if for any reason my son doesn't love this toy or there are any reasons why it doesn't meet my satisfaction as a parent. But I truly believe my Daniel Tiger loving 3 year old son will adore this toy!
