Aputure VS-2 7-Inch HD Fine LCD Field Monitor - Black

Not a full review but just to say that after the V3.2 firware update, a lot of issues have been resolved.The image used to be very contrasty and not showing blacks or near blacks with any subtlety. It was very quickly noticeable that the V3.2 update has made this vastly more usable.Some updates are seemingly pointless and some transform the way a device works - luckily, this was the latter.I am very pleased with this now....and if it helps, my personal opinion is that for the price, the build quality is more than good enough, contrary to what some have said in reviews.

ordered 2 of them, one in Germany, the other in UK. Both are way too dark, show too much contrast and color does not match to in camera image. Monitors show color shift and it's impossible to match the monitors one to another.

After fiddling around in the settings there is an option the filters the video under/over its currently set to under but once I changed this to over the jagged lines stopped and the picture became much sharper removing all the jagged miore type lines, the only issue now is its not 100% mirroring, id say its about 90% so you are missing abit of the video on the sides but its no longer a deal breakers, its a very clear screen when used with a kodi box so a lot of the issue is also down the camera, aputure emailed me and just said it wont fully work but did not inform me about the under pass or over pass option which really cleared things up, all in all id say 4 stars as a case is not provided and aputure support did not inform me about this option but to be honest I should have seen it earlier,Im checking with the supplier and manufacter but they have not responded yet, I believe this is not fully compatible with the 5D3, the signal from the 5D3 is 2 streams of 1080i and a device is supposed to put them together for 1080p, this monitor can not put them together, not saying its the monitors fault as the camera output has complicated things but strangley on the box considering this is a new revised product it says compatible with 5D2! so it hints at an older model and not a newer one, what happens when you plug the 5D3 in is that you get a really mioire filled image as its only half as sharp, and the moire on screen is really bad, jagged lines everywhere, as the manufacturer has not responded to my questions I will suspect they are avoiding the question, 1 star for design, 1 star for accessories but doesn't have a case, would have cost a few quid to add? no other stars as doesn't really work

Excellent monitor. Little contrasty but i may need to make more adjustments. Overall clean image, focus peaking, very little delay, lightweight.

j'ai commandé cet écran pour monter mon K7 sur un rig (je n'ai besoin que de 720p et le Tropicalisme du K7), j'en suis amplement satisfait, pas trop consommateur en batterie, il apporte une grande aisance pour le cadrage, meme en plein soleil, avec la casquette fournie biensur.pour l'instant, avec la sortie hdmi du K7 en 4/3 ,je ne peut pas juger de ces capacités divers en thermes de zoom, focus p...

Utilizzavo per lavoro il modello vs-2 “normale” e questo nuovo “FINEHD” è quel che mancava. Ora è molto più definito e ben contrastato, la batteria ha una buona durata. Ottimo rapporto prezzo/qualità.

Ich benutze diesen Monitor als Field-Monitor mit einer Alpha 77 II und einer PJ 780...Die Lieferung erfolgte innerhalb von 4 Tagen, alles bestens verpackt.Ich bin von der Bildqualität begeistert, natürliche Farben, knackscharfe Darstellung und eine - wie in der Artikelbeschreibung beschrieben - echte Auflösung von 1920 x 1200 und nicht wie bei manch anderen Produkten : "... bis 1920x1080 möglich" - was nichts anderes heißt als dass ein Full-HD Signal verarbeitet wird.Einziger Kritikpunkt ist der mitgelieferte Blendschutz, dieser ist nur etwas 'wackelig' mit Gummibändern am Bildschirm zu befestigen. Da würde es sicher stabilere und klappbare Lösungen geben.Ich würde diesen Monitor jederzeit wieder kaufen !

Ça fonctionne, et c'est le principal.Livré dans une boite solide, je dirais que rapport qualité/prix, c'est pas mal.Pour les plus Pro avec des besoins plus élevé, je vous conseillerai de passer votre chemin.Pour les amateurs, c'est parfait.
