I absolutely LOVE Meeden's art supply products! Especially their ceramic mixing trays and palettes!!! This open rectangular tray is wonderful when mixing lots of colors. They perform beautifully and clean up with a bit of water. I leave my paint sit on them for weeks and they never stain. They are sturdy enough to not shift around on your workspace. They hold a lot of paint and water, so you have plenty of space to work with. They are sturdy enough to travel well, too.

I have several ceramic palettes and this one has become a favorite for when I am working with varying intensities of the same color. Sturdy, smooth.

This does exactly what I need it to do. Works great for mixing watercolors, cleans easily, feels solid.

This porcelain palette was purchased for watercolor paints, and while it is a bit smaller than I expected, the surface is nice and flat so doesn't show any flow of paint into puddles, and the little compartments along the side are handy to keep the colors I'm using handy.

So many options to choose from... I was *this* close to just purchasing one of those big white-enameled butcher's trays (and I still may at some point,) but I do have kind of limited room to fit stuff on my painting table (which is another name for "dining room table"). I ordered this tray palette instead, and from the moment I opened it, I knew it was perfect for me.It is Goldilocks in so many ways: not too small, not too large; not too heavy, not too light; small enough for travel, heavy enough to sit solidly on my table; very white and mixes colors well, yet very easy to clean.It came in pristine condition, packaged well, quick delivery, and very ecomonically priced.Everything about this tray palette is fantastic in my opinion, and I HIGHLY recommend it.

Absolutely love this mixing palatte. It's the perfect size, not too large and not too small. I personally don't like mixing inside my paint welled paint palattes. I like the freedom of the unsegregated plate and the slight rim. I tend to pick up a lot of color and mix big portions so having the rim doubles as something I can run my brush against to squeeze paint off my brush and into my color blotch...so, minimal waste. There is no beading up of color since it is ceramic. It is easy to clean and doesn't stain. Very happy with this purchase.
