Shepperton Design Studios Original Stormtrooper Battle Spec Helmet

All the imperfections of the original helmet. It has all the features you would expect, an excellent collectable. What makes it more special is that each piece is hand made so every one is unique. Money wise I would not have bought it at the original price, otherwise Quality very good but the finishing was slightly off eg the rubber edges so one star off for that. Al in all happy and makes a great display piece.

To those who had complained about the helmet looking squashed on one side. These helmets are cast from an original mould that was made in the 70s and are famously asymmetrical!I thought the same when I bought it for my husband and I phoned the studios to ask why I hadn't received the certificate of authentication that was promised and to query the uneven shape. Turns out I was talking to Andrew Ainsworth himself who explained the reason to me. After a bit of research I was able to verify this information from various Star Wars fan sites.Mr Ainsworth apologised and posted the certificate to me that very day.Needless to say, my husband loves it for all its imperfections!If you want a perfect one, order one that's cheaper and not built from the original studio, but I can guarantee, it won't have the same character!

Not a very well made item. The green eye peice glass is very flimsy and wont last long.

A good well made helmet some what light and the green lenses are very cheap

Ich habe schon mehrere Helme gehabt und verglichen, darunter auch Eigenbauten.Der Shepperton Helm ist nicht der beste, aber auch nicht der schlechteste Helm darunter.Wer nicht selbst basteln und lackieren will, für den ist der Helm eine Alternative.Ein paar Dinge sollte man wissen:- Die Farbe ist eher matt, nicht ganz so glänzend wie es im Film wirkt.- der Helm ist stark asymmetrisch, das ist allerdings genau so gewollt und war bei den originalen Helmen im Film auch so. Für die einen macht das die besonde Qualität eines Helms aus, für die anderen siehts einfach komisch aus- der Helm hat keinerlei Innenausstattung. Soll er getragen werden, muss hier noch ausgepolstert werden.- die Augen haben als Innenverkleidung nur eine billige grüne Folie. Dadurch sieht man annähernd nichts richtig. Hier kann mit grünem Plexiglas nachgearbeitet werden.Es gibt erheblich bessere Alternativen, wenn man es noch detailgetreuer mag. Dann muss man aber auch erheblich mehr ausgeben und evtl. auch selbst basteln.Der Helm ist jedoch deutlich besser als die Varianten von Rubies oder Internet-Jedi-Läden...

Also ich finde den Helm top. Habe daraus meinen Helm für nen Sandtrooper gemacht und bin super zufrieden. Passt meiner Meinung nach super zum ANH (A New Hope - Star Wars IV) und hat jetzt auch schon mehrere Troops gut überstanden.

Ist etwas schwierig zum abwaschen, da er innen recht kantig ist.Darf nicht in den Geschirrspüler.Optisch einwandfrei.Wir benutzen ihn als Naschi Schale.

Like all pieces of armour out there, things are overpriced. This one is not as glossy as it should be.I think the one in the picture is not the battle spec veriant but the hero one.

Non sapevo cosa aspettarmi, ma alla fine sono rimasto pienamente soddisfatto, oltre che essere fatto decisamente bene c'è anche il certificato di autenticità shepperton con il relativo numero seriale

En mi opinion el casco esta logradisimo , los fallos son, que aun teniendo la hoja de originalidad , firmada y con el numero de fabricacion, el casco en si no lo tiene por ningun sitio, puede ser cualquiera,.y otra de las cosas que me decepciono fue el brillo de este que era ninguno ,era mate y no como venia en la foto, la cual brillaba,. por lo demas perfecto...

Producto de pésima calidad,el abs es demaseado fino , no es ni por asomo de 3,5 mm de espesor, viene mal ensamblado, se les cae la goma negra central de arriba , la goma de abajo , por dentro, la espuma no viene fija , las protecciones de goma interiores de las orejeras se les cae,las lentes no son lentes , es una especie de plástico hiperfino tipo papel de celofán , en fin , para alguién que presume de ser el diseñador de los trajes originales de stormtrooper( Andrew Ainhsworth, Shepperton Design Studios) me imaginaba mas calidad.menos mal que lo pude devolver y Amazon son gente seria.Ademas venia superdeforme, no se parace ni por asomo a este casco tan chulo que teneis, pero como digo Amazon es gente seria y si tienes problemas con algún articulo te dan soluciones , gestión de Amazon 10-producto Shepperton 0.Goleada de mis proveedoresa los que seguiré comprando y adivinan a quién no compraré en la vida , jajajajajajaja saludos .

Der Helm macht erstmal ein guten Eindruck, aber fuer 270 Euro erwarte ich eine bessere verarbeitung besonders das "innenleben" ist zu billig von der verarbeitung her. Die Linsen sind einfach eine lange Plastikfolie die ueber die ganze vordere innenlaenge des Helms gehen und nicht an die Augen angepast, die Schrauben die verwendet werden stehn weit ab. Alles in allem way over priced.

Creo que es un poco caro para la calidad final.Algunas partes venían un poco sueltas y los ojos son un papel de celofán pegado dentro del casco. Va a tocar hacer un poco de DIY para mejorarlo.Por lo demás, cumple expectativas :)

Nada que objetarEs una replica bastante fiel al de la película, incluyendo los defectos del casco del original.Satisfecho con la compra.

Ich hab noch nie einen so schlechten Replica Helm gesehen.... die Verarbeitung ist unterirdisch, der ganze Hem absolut schief und asymmetrisch... die Qualität ist auch recht miserabel. Für den Preis absolut nicht zu empfehlen, nichtmal 5€ wären dafür angebracht. Einzig allein die Verpackung und das Info-Material mit Zertifikat ist ok, daher auch 1Stern.
