Loft cleared with ease
We have a 5 bed detached new build that suffers from cluster flies in 1 room, our upstairs office where the loft hatch is.The flies, not an awful lot, seem to get in to the office via the loft hatch, approx 10+ per day and in truth, I struggled to see that many loft space itself but decided it needed something doing to get rid of them.Read up about cluster flies and opted for the 7g sized smoke bombs, put 2, spaced apart, in the loft space in small ramekins that were placed onto baking trays with some tin foil to provide a wider area of protection just in case there were any sparks when lighting the smoke bombs. They are lit and burn via a blue touch paper fuse, similar to what they use in fireworks.Instantly starting to plume smoke into the loft space. We sealed the loft hatch with some masking tape and left the smoke bombs to do their stuff.Within a few minutes, we had numerous dead flies/creatures, mainly very small ones, outside the house on our path down the side of the house as the flies will try and vacate the loft space as soon as the smoke starts to plume. We have led downlighters in the bathrooms upstairs but no smoke seeped past them into any rooms upstairs which was good.I went back into the loft the following day, armed with a handheld hoover but surprisingly, and much to our relief, there were hardly any dead flies that I could see. Lots outside but none of note in the loft space which proves that the flies will vacate the area rather than stay and die in situ.2 days in with very warm weather 25 degrees+ in the loft space this week, we have no more flies in the office. How often I'll have to do this I'm not sure but for now, it was worth the £20 outlay for the product and I still have 4 canisters left. I was considering trying one canister next time but in all honesty, I know 2 definitely work and for the price, I'll stick with 2.Do they work for cluster flies in loft spaces, yep, will they work for other creatures in different spaces, I wouldn't know but I'd hazard a guess that they would based upon our experience of using them for our pest problem.

Some didn’t go off properly
Some of them didn’t light very well.. they set off releasing smoke so I left the room and on return i realised they had stopped and didn’t smoke properly so it was a waste of one, it wasn’t every one but around 3 out of the packet didn’t go off properly.

had to use 7 in one room.
had to use 7bombs in ONE room to get rid of them!!! my room is average size not too small and not big, so using 7 in one room to kill them all is ridiculous!! if someone is getting these to do the whole house your gonna have to get atleast 7 per room and even more if you have a big livingroom/bedroom, at first i tried 1 and it didn’t do nothing at all, sure it killed like 5 of them but majority was still alive!! this product is a waste of money i’m sure you can find better ones elsewhereUPDATE: put a bowl of soap and a lamp over it overnight and fleas are still in my room so even after 7 it did NOT work!! i am so unhappy with this product do not waste ur money

Effective and Easy to Use
The Pest Expert Smoke Bombs worked really well for tackling a cluster fly problem in my home. They were easy to use with clear instructions, and I noticed a significant reduction in pests after the first use. The larger size is a bonus, as it provides better coverage compared to smaller foggers. Just ensure the room is sealed properly for the best results. Highly recommend for anyone dealing with stubborn pests!

Didn't work at all
I set 6 of these off in my small, 2 bed house. One in every room and one in the hallway. Left the house sealed for over 12 hours and aired as per instructions. I treated the cats the same day so they couldn't immediately bring new ones in. Still have fleas in the house and nothing on the animals.

Worked as described
I read the reviews on this product and I was not sure how this was going to go, but I went ahead with my purchase. Instructions are provided and they are very clear. Place product on a foil covered plate. Remove batteries from smoke alarms. Remove all other pets, such as fish etc. Place, light, then leave each room and then leave the house for at least two hours. On return to house, ventilate as necessary. All I can say is, I followed the instructions and it worked. I have no complaints. I used four of the six and they all worked. No drama 🤷♀️If you are using this product for flea infestation, fleas lay eggs in soft furnishings….thats a fact. Educate yourself regarding the life cycle of fleas and you will better understand how to combat the problem. There is no magic wand. This product will help the process…..it does work. It will, however NOT help if you do not treat the animal also. I used this product to help an elderly friend who was could not see well enough to know there was a massive infestation. Together with decent flea spray, washing everything and a trip to the vets, we got there in the end. The whole process took effort, time and money, but it’s done 👍
