My OT PUT ME ON SUMIKr spring but with out the handles for upper body strength. The handles work a lot better in my opinion.

As someone who has been seriously into numerous martial arts and hard core physical fitness (Judo, Jujitsu, Karate-Do, Boxing, Wrestling and Combatives. Warrior Circuit training, various Military Fitness routines such as SEAL, and Special Forces etc.), for more than 6 decades I have used just about every type of exercise equipment on the market. Even though I am a senior with age and physical issues; nevertheless, I am always seeking equipment and unique ways to become stronger and fitter.When I saw this product (Boshen 66 pounds Power Twister Bar for chest, arms, upper body strength training, heavy duty arm and chest builder) on Amazon for a bargain price I decided to purchase it. One of the many things I like about product is that it comes in 3 different resistance levels (40-66-88).I am fairly strong I decided to order the 66 pound level rather than the 88 pound level at this time. I have loved using this kind of exercise equipment years ago when Joe Weider sold them, and I decided to again make it part of my workout routines. My two minor complaints is that there was NO INSTRUCITON MANUAL WITH IT and the resistance at the 66 pound level was stronger than I thought it would be; however, there are routines on line using this piece of equipment.I really like the Boshen power twister, but I was surprised how much resistance the 66 pound model was because I had trouble bending it for my exercises. I like this product for several reasons. It’s compact which means that when I travel I can actually take it with me and still get a arm and chest work out while in my hotel room or at my desk.It is sturdy, The handles are comfortable, but the resistance is less than what I personally would like, but it is a good training device for doing multiple repetitions for me.I will be purchasing another one for strength training

This 66 lb. Power Twister proved the story of Goldilocks and the 3 Bears! Let me explain: I had been using a twister bar regularly for 25 years , but it started to squeal and groan from age. So i shopped Boshen Power Bars and decided to get the Poppa Bear 88 lb bar. I would huff and puff, but I couldn't get any exercise action of the Poppa Bear. So I traded it in for the Boshen 22 lb Baby Bear Bar. If the Poppa Bear Bar was too hard, the Baby Bear Bar was too soft - no challenge and no fun. Then I took a chance on the 66 lb Momma Bear model and it was JUST RIGHT. Boshen's 66 lb. bar fits my hands and my needs perfectly! Not Too Hard! Not Too Soft! JUST RIGHT . . . just like a fairy tale come true!!!

I bought the 88 lb version. It is tough, so if you are weak, don't consider it. I can do about 10 good reps but I usually do 300 pushups over 10 sets and 10 sets of 50 lb dumbbells x 15 reps a set for the chest press. (Working out at home). I can probably bench somewhere around 185-200 lbs (have lifted as much as 285 in a workout in my hey day). I would think that if you are similarly strong, then you can use this to supplement your workouts. However, from days of lifting heavy (I have a small to medium frame) my rotator cuffs are damaged (my book on shoulder exercises has really helped). And, sadly, when I crush the reps with this, my rotator cuffs hurt. So, if you have shoulder impingement, maybe don't buy this. I cannot attest to how long this will last. I assume, since I am not really using it, it will last forever. Anyway, good luck, enjoy if you do decide to buy one and have some happy work outs.

I ordered the 110lbs power twister and it was good but I wanted to start as a beginner so I ended up returning it for a smaller one. Over all it’s a great product, im happy and satisfied with it…. Recommend it!Thank you
