This is my new go to polymer clay.It's easy to condition, really malleable to use and boy is it tough.I cooked a test sample slab 2mm thick for 15mins at 150c (lowest temp in oven) . The piece bent 180°, then back 180 the other direction. It then broke after a third fold.Increasing the cooking to 150c for 30mins, and the piece was much much stronger, the piece broke after 20 * 180° folds!!!Very impressed.

I absolutely LOVE this Cernit translucent clay! It comes in a large packet (500g) for a good price. I mix it with regular clay to add a translucent effect, and it doesn’t tend to affect the colour of your clay (unless you add too much!), as opposed to adding in regular white clay which will of course make your clay lighter.I will be buying this again once I run out, but I still have about 3/4 of the packet left. A little goes a long way!

I found this stayed whiter when baked than premo trans which can go a bit yellow. Do if working with cool tones of polymer I prefer this. Also usable pretty much straight from packet with minimal conditioning. I'm a convert to cernit

New feedback.. because once I leached this it was perfect, I was unaware that fresh clay like this was so soft... so I change my review... it's perfect now .. I put it throught my pasta machine a few times....Previous review::So I don't know what other people have received..but this is the worst clay I've ever worked with .. it's way to soft an just droops whatever position it goes.. it stretches like melting chewing gum or cornflour an water. .. 😞

This used to be perfect, but now the past five packets I have bought have been too dry and crumbly to use straight out of the packet. I have to spend a significant amount of time softening the clay, and after this it does not look as good as it used to. I do not know what has caused this, maybe the storage or method of transport for delivery has been too warm. However, it is extremely disappointing as this is my favourite clay to use, and the only place I can get it.

It’s far too soft, trying to shape it doesn’t work and it ends up like slime when you try to move it. I think I’ll have to put it in the fridge for a day to see if that hardens it but it’s very annoying that it’s like goop basically.

Great value for money a great big block! Easy to use also
