Great tuner
The Snark tuners are the ones to buy. This is the second one I have bought; they are simple and intuitive to use, have a clear display, clip firmly onto your guitar/ukelele/banjo etc and seem to be accurate (I checked against our two professionally tuned pianos), although for some reason they seem to suggest that I sing out of tune. They also seem robust, lasting longer than my children's interest in playing the instruments.

Superb tuner with metronome
Great little item, very easy to tune using it and it has an auto off function too for when I tune and play without turning it off.Mine came in a very funky blue colour which is OK, prefer black and did not spot that it might be in other colours, at least it is not pink!Works very well on my acoustic and electric guitars and works with other noise in the room so I can still tune up when the rest of the band is warming up.Buy one, they are inexpensive and are spot on.

Two cheers for the Snark
I've had a few of these and find them the most useful instrument tuner I've come across for guitar, mandolin, fiddle, etc. Simple to use, responsive, clear, and precise without being too 'fussy' (i.e the reading is pretty stable, not wavering about with too much detail). Slight reservations . . . a couple of them have partially failed: e.g. on one, the light no longer works. One of them has a slippery finish rather than the easily-grippable matt finish of most of them. On the whole, though, a Good Thing.

Great little tuner
I have a few of these -one for each guitar. I keep them in the cases and obviously use them as required. They are so simple to use and can be left in place as you play. I gig a lot so I need something that I can rely on.The only thing you have to watch for is the joint between the mount and the tuning bit ( sorry iif I'm getting technical) -this can be a little vulnarable. I have broken a couple that way but that is my fault. If you are careful you should be fine. The tuning signal is easy to read and is accurate. It is chromatic so you can tune to the note you want -i.e if you are using non standard tunings.

Even the tone deaf can tune a guitar
This thing is brilliant. I bought this because i thought i would take up guitar as a hobby. I bought myself a second hand Yamaha with a string missing and a pack of Martin M170 Extra Light Acoustic Guitar Strings, which are also very good by the way. I had no clue how to tune the guitar, yes you can look on the internet and youtube but if your ears dont hear bum notes they wont help you. So i bought this, and its awsome. So if your in the market for a tuner, this is the one to go for, cheap and effective but looks good too.

A cool device
I originally got one of these many years ago as a gift from a friend. It was a useful little device, easy to use with a bright display - especially after using a cumbersome tuning pedal for years. Since then, I have bought a couple more of them for other friends who dabble in guitar playing and they've been really pleased too. A cool item for the guitarist who has everything.

Fantastic product
Honestly cannot praise this thing enough. Wasn't expecting very much from a tuner coming in at under £10 including postage, but simply put it's brilliant - accurate, highly adjustable and incredibly convenient. Bonus points from me for even including the batteries (only realised this after spending 20 minutes emptying every drawer in the house searching for the right type, but ah well, kudos nonetheless). I had been preparing to spend £50+ on a tuning pedal for gigs, but this thing is much, much better value. The only possible criticism I could come up with as mentioned by another reviewer is that it's kind of hard to see the LED display in bright light, but that's literally it.

Works for bass guitar
Bought for bass guitar and works well. Other tuner’s didn’t.
