TICONN Waterproof Electrical Junction Box IP67 ABS Plastic Enclosure with Hinged Cover with Mounting Plate, Wall Brackets, Cable Glands (Clear, 8.7"x6.7"x4.3")

I am using this box to house an Internet Mesh node extender in an outside location. The box is well made and sturdy and waterproof. It has a rubber seal around the inside of the lid and locks shut with stainless latches. It is well designed to allow you to hang devices on the interior perforated back plate without drilling through the outside of the box. The box is secured in place by stainless adjustable tabs that do not penetrate the inside of the box. It is really waterproof. Wires and cables can be inserted through drill holes in the bottom of the box which are then waterproofed by rubber grommets. Good product for outside applications.

Box is sturdy and secure. I am using it for a camera transition/junction from inside to outside. Good weather proof box.

I love this box. I was hesitant at first because I've not had great luck with all things from this brand but I will say being that this one for the size i bought would be in the upper price range and there is a reason.The latches are awesome. I cannot overstate how firm, heavy duty they feel and I hope last the harsh colorado winters. It's spring now so this box will see some stuff to get ready for winter and I'll post along the way.The transparent window is also really cool. I wasn't sure the extra cost would be worth it but it was. To my surprise it's slightly tinted it seems so and my use case is a water proof and mobile solar charge station. I'm a diy maker and I get a brain fart idea and I try to piece things together to make it professional. This box makes my diy stuff professional.The quality of the plastic is thick and durable. I have very shakey hands due to injury and I already dropped those box from a good distance and it held up. Like really well. I don't have a need to test that any further as this will mostly be hanging somewhere but still in the elements with an occasional accidental drop.I love that I can also remove the peg board in the back of the box so that I can prep my wires and electronics to fit perfectly without fiddling in the box while prototyping.Will post pics. Love this item. Will order a few more after winter if they hold up.

Nice box to hold my WiFi box for my cameras. It is nice a water proof and dimensions were accurate. My only complaint is that there are no knock outs on the box for running your wire like most electrical boxes have so I had to drill them. Not a huge problem, but I just assumed they would have them like most boxes do.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this to house a pool light controller outdoors in Texas. It was the perfect solution. I could not find anything like this in terms of the correct size, the high quality, and the immediate availability at any Home Depot or Lowes store nearby. As you can see from my video, I was pretty happy with it. It does not include the scores needed to fasten the box to whatever you're attaching it to (wood, brick, etc.) I was able to drill two each one inch holes in the bottom for an electrical conduit access using a drill bit for wood. No cracking!

It was perfect for the job we needed. What I did not realize. The cover is clear. I spray painted it from the inside the cabinet door. It came out perfect.

I need a box large enough to contain my solar tracking controller and still see the controller and this TICONN Waterproof Electrical Junction Box was the perfect box for the task. The controller fit inside perfectly. It left enough room to run the wires and there was plenty of surface area to get the waterproof glands installed.The box is solid and well built. There is no flex and the mounting holes are adequate and provide plenty of grip. As seen in the pictures it is out in the elements on a pole and has so far been completely water tight. I'm very impressed with the quality. fit and finish of the box.

This is a review I’m happy to write! Our fiber jack was placed in my woodshop, haphazardly, and was always getting dusty and sometimes bumped unintentionally. I was looking for something to condense and contain the incoming and outgoing connections and protect them. This was a perfect solution after making a substructure to mount it to, rerouting some cabling through the studs. And layering some insulation back into the stud cavity. The case was easily modifiable to drill the grommet holes and I was also able to add some small vent holes on the bottom lip of the cleat door for heat management. Super high quality box that closes tight and looks great. Very pleased!
