Decent build quality with black rubberised base. Bright enough as these type of lamps go - user guide states it's 120 lumen when all LEDs are on and 60Lm when half are on, which seems about right. I like that it has multiple charging options - with the charging cable supplied into USB / mains / car lighter (plug-in supplied), with batteries (3 x AAA), solar and as a last resort hand cranking. Also good is that it has a hard plastic carrying handle which contains a swivel-up hanging hook.

I have owned one of these lamps for approx 2 years with no problems. It is reliable and gives good light. Leave it near a window and it is always fully ready for use. Now I have bought this second lamp as present for my mother who is 94 years old and is always worried about having a power cut. The solar charging aspect is the main reason for once again purchasing this lamp.

I am very pleased with this lamp that I bought two in case of emergency power cuts and got one for a friend who does s lot of camping trips.The lamp is affordable priced and can use electricity, battery, solar, yanking for charging and you can also use the lamp to charge your mobile phone which is very handy when you are out camping.The lighting is quite good but could improve to have it brighter.The lamp is portable and stable to stand on its own.I recommend this to friends.

Brought this with some trepidation never having had any experience with these sorts of things, but as we are looking at going camping and bareboat sailing this, if as old as the reviews suggested would be a god send.It's arrived and on first inspection the build quality is much better than I expected it's pretty solid plastic, though removing the cling film from the lens is a bit fiddly.I pressed the on/off button, expecting it to be dead but it burst into light! Not mega bright but I could easily read by it, very happy.Having charged it for 9hrs on the mains as instructed I have to say this is excellent it will illuminate our tent & boat brilliantly for upto 12hrs and then merrily solar charge throughout the day, or, if overcast it can be hand charged. The hanging hook is very handy and as the unit is pretty get in weight I don't foresee a problem with hanging it on the tent poles.My only minor gripe is the car charger isn't overly well built.I'd highly recommend this item and am seriously considering buying a second one to have permanently on the boat.

This arrived in fairly prompt time and once out of the box was charged as recommended. Following this I was very impressed with the output of this lamp. This can easily light up a medium sized room. I have yet to test the car charger function but appears to charge phones from USB port and even in dim light catches a charge from the solar cell on top. Study design very happy!

Worked brilliantly for my first camping trip. Everything worked well. A few months later I was getting my camping kit ready for another trip and it didn't work. Running off the mains, batteries or the dynamo. Disappointed as it was so good when it worked

We purchased to use when out in our caravan. Its sturdy and stays put on our wobbly table when out on grass. Nice bright light - Low on first button press, high on second push, then off on third. Very versatile with the various charging options which are: - Built in Solar panel on top, Mains, Car Socket, Dynamo hand crank handle. Mains lead included, Lead to connect to car cigarette lighter socket included. It comes with built in rechargeable battery (included) but should you need to you can use AA batteries should the built in supply run out. Comes fully charged up so can be used straight out of the box.

I like items that offer various options for operation. Uses solar, dynamo, batteries, car and AC adapter. 2 brightness modes. It's also waterproof and well priced in my opinion. I bought this just as one of the emergency items to keep in the home. It has been used on a camping trip too and worked great. Bright LEDs.
