Perfect book for younger children to learn more maths. Great price

Every other page is a game…
A little disappointed with this Collins book. Every other page is a game, and some games require you to cut out a spinner, so you cannot play the games until the child has completed the worksheet on the other side. I usually find the Collins books are perfect for a few minutes of practice, Maths or English, every day. I didn’t want a book of games, though Maths related, which we probably will never do.

A bit of a toughie...but does the job
My children have all had these types of books, through their school years. They help consolidate learning at home and do give the child some fun in the process. I sit with my children to work through a page - takes about 10 - 20 mins per double page. I do think they help and my children are not the best behaved, not the best in class etc...they are just normal kids, sometimes naughty, sometimes nice and sometimes just want to play. These books keep them engaged.
