Shimano SMRT56M Disc Brake

Very high quality rotas. A strong design with lots of cooling holes. Easy to fit. Substantially heavier than the old ones I removed. Lots of extra stopping power! I'm using these on a hybrid bike. Amazon was the cheapest place I could find these rotas. I've previously tried bikehut and lifeline branded rotas, but found they were of a more inferior quality. It it always well-worth combining new rotas with new sets of brake pads at the same time. I found these Clarks ones (also sold by Amazon) are a good match Clarks Organic Disc Brake Pads for Shimano Deore Br-M515/M475/M525/M465/M495, Tektro Auriga Comp./Dracom Moto Aquila/HDC-300/Mota Expect your brakes to be very squeeky for the first couple of miles. They need an opportunity to bed-in and for any residue oil / solvents applied at the factory to burn off.

Brilliant quality, bought these to replace the original disc rotors that came with my Cannondale Badboy after contamination caused them to slip. These rotors happen to be the same rotors that came on my new bike Cannondale CAAD12 2019. The stopping power along with my new pads is brilliant and feels like new again. The package came with the rotors, 6 bolts & two spacers. At this price you can afford to replace them once a year to keep your brakes sharp.

Great quality discs. Bought to replace a bent disc on my Wife's new boardman hybrid. The bike was collected from a long way from home and we didn't notice the bent disc until we got home. At this price and with a quick amazon prime delivery it was a better option than taking the bike back to the shop to get repaired.

Upgraded from a Shram 160mm disc to this 180mm. Stopping power is good, wear seems to be OK despite being installed on a heavy steel framed E-bike. Took a little longer to bed this disc in than my previous one, however once it settled in it performed great, and so far not a single squeak or squeal. Resin pads only though, which is a shame as I feel a sintered pad could really help. Happy with the upgrade, and my bike stops much easier now.

I am astounded how well these disks have embedded in with just using them after a week. They are very well made, great stoppage if you have the right setup, even in the rain they seem to not squeak. I bought these to replace my Tekro disk breaks because they are appalling. Make sure you get the right disk pads though. Do not use the B01S break pads as advised on Amazon they are not Organic these require organic break pads

Shimano rotors are usually good. Even though this one is a solid type and pretty basic I happily use this on the back of my bike. This has now well bedded in with compound pads. I also used ceramic pads on this with equally good result, but it's definitelly works better for me with classic compound ones. I have Sram brakes and Sram pads so using Shimano rotor is a little strange, but I find them better with heat and not bucking as much.

Brilliant Value, top quality as they should be. Comes with locking spring plates and screws. Cannot be beaten at this price. Bought to replace squeaky noisy brake and cured the problem. Bought the Sommet Resin pads to go with them they both work a treat. total margin complete replace of rota and pads for just £12 Would recommend 100% do not be in any doubt.

前後ともヘイズの160mmローターを使用していましたが、制動力がイマイチだったので前180mm後160mmどちらもシマノ製に換装しました。 前は大径化したので制動力が上がるのはもちろんなのですが、後は同径のままなので、シマノ製にした効果が出ているのだと思います。トレイルの下りがとても楽になりました。おすすめ！

Sin duda un 10 para este disco, lo he colocado ccomo delantero ya que el que tenia estaba ya casi para tirar, de hecho es mas de lo que seguramente necesite para lo que yo hago, ya que no creo que lo sobrecaliente tanto como para necesitar su tecnología de enfriamiento, pero queria probarlo ademas que a mi gusto me encanta el disco, y todo un acierto seguramente cuando el trasero pida cambio, lo sustituire por otro como este

Versione centerlock fornito di ghiera di serraglio per assi standard da 9 mm (se avate assi da 15 mm accorre usare la ghiera adatta non fornita). In foto trovate il confronto tra il mio precedente XT (M8000). Entrambi di ottima qualità. Li uso con pastiglie organiche, frenata modulabile e potente.

this is an OEM part so it was a direct replacement for the brake rotor on my bike. Arrived in a timely fashion and was easy to install.
