Jolly Rancher Hard Candy, Lemon, 13-Ounce bag

I grew up picking out all of the lemon flavored jolly ranchers and sucking on them and having my few minutes of happiness, one at a time. I get quite nostalgic just thinking about it.I wasn't too thrilled to find out they discontinued them. I loved these so much that my wife actually wrote them a letter asking them to bring back lemon jolly ranchers so she could try to surprise me for a b-day present. Well, about a month ago randomly searched online for them, and much to my surprise I actually found them. I double checked on various websites to make sure it wasn't some mean joke. Nope, they're REALLY BACK! I ran out of the house as my wife was pulling out of the garage and shouted "THEY BROUGHT BACK THE JOLLY RANCHERS!" and she said I looked like a happy little kid. She got that right! Good ol' Amazon had them and I ordered them as quickly as possible and fist pumped knowing the Prime shipping would get them to me quickly =)They're as good as I remembered and then some. They hands down beat lemon heads or any other wanna-be lemon candy that tries to bring out the best of a zesty lemon flavor without making it too tart or too sweet. Trust me, my taste buds have explored many substitutes while lemon jolly ranchers were on a temporary leave of absence and none came close. I hope they NEVER discontinue these again. I'll definitely buy my shares worth so that it helps keep their sales quota up to offset whatever criteria they use to continue selling them.

I remember these being around when I was a kid (for reference, I'm currently 27) and recently I said to myself, "Where are they now!?" Googling around about 9 months ago revealed that they had been discontinued sufficiently long ago that nobody had them anymore, but when I Googled again recently just hoping against hope that something might have changed, there they were on the official Jolly Ranchers site!!Let me tell you, if you've had them before, they're every bit as good as you remember. If you haven't, these are the best lemon hard candies around, bar none. Lemonheads and the like don't even come close. I haven't found these in grocery stores yet, but trust me, pick up a couple bags asap!

I have searched everywhere for these ... I even got in touch with Hershey Candy Company and they no longer sell them in the individual bags of Lemon only. They were for a friend who is going through "Cancer" treatments and she has been having trouble with her Taste being off ..... one of her nurses recommended these and said several of her patients have used them with great success. I took no chances and ordered 2 more bags as soon as these came in. .... even if my friend may not get the same result .... she can share them with the others at the hospital. Although ... I am truly hoping they work well for my friend. Thank you for having these and for the great packaging & fast shipping!

I love this flavor. I savor the tart lemony taste. I lover that my tongue isn't a silly blue, green, bright red or purple color. But.... The price is very high. And the product itself does has variations in size, sweetness, tartness and hardness. I do wish I could buy this all of the time for less cost and better quality control. But. Mmmmmmm. Lemon jolly ranchers.

These are my favorite flavor of jolly ranchers! I was so mad when they stopped putting lemon in the normal bags in favor of blue raspberry, (the clear choice for replacement was grape, duh!) Alas grape stayed and I was forced to live a lemon rancher free life until of course these babies came along! They're the best! Super lemony but not too sour and they dont get chewy like lemon heads.

The lemon Jolly Rancher was always my favorite growing up and I had honestly thought they had stopped making them. They are as tasty as I remember and I have ordered a few bags now. This bag is quite pricey for the size of the bag, but has been worth it for the nostalgia trip for me, but will probably keep me from buying them on a regular basis.

Edit: Hershey’s has now discontinued these bags of lemon Jolly Ranchers. They are now only available from sellers who have to pick the lemon ones out of huge assortments. First they ruin the Cadbury Creme Egg, now they take away our lemon Jolly Ranchers a second time. You can’t buy decent bubble gum that doesn’t have artificial sweetener in it, and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups have also been ruined. It is a sad time for candy in America.They have returned...and I ate the whole bag within 48 hours...now I need more...I only wish Hershey's would repent of the nonsense that their 'Original Mix' contains Blue Raspberry instead of Lemon.

If you like lemon, and I do, this is the candy for you. It has a little sourness to it. If you are not that crazy about lemon, it's not for you.
