These intake manifolds have a small umbrella valve inside of them that cause havoc with the PCV system. This replacement unit fit perfectly and resolved all of my issues. Half the price of what I would have paid at the parts store.

The product was a perfect Fit replacement for the original intake manifold and solved the crankcase over pressure issue that was causing engine oil leaking.

The Amazon part name indicates Improved part, but doesn't mention what was improved. The manufacturer website doesn't either. I was hoping that the non-return valve was a better design. Using an endoscope I tried to examine the valve, but couldn't determine anything different. See photos. Overall the part installed the same and I reused the old fasteners even though it can with new ones. Replacement injector and MAP valve o-rings were included. The only issue was that impeded installation was the plastic guide going into one of the ports was 1mm too wide. I had to file it narrower to fit. I read another reviewer had the same issue. The Cruze drives great and I hope this fix will last many years.

Did the job, I also ported it out with a Dremel. It was worth the extra time as the car is a totally different animal going from 3rd to 4th gear as my Cruze is a manual. I buy a lot of 1.4 Cruze's and I've ported intakes on an automatic and same results. You can really tell a difference hitting 3rd and 4th gear. Do not waste the money buying the already ported intake off of the performance part shops, you all know who I'm talking about. It is nothing to port one of these. If your hesitant degrease your old intake and do a practice run on it. If you have the aptitude to replace the intake I assure you that you can port your new intake. Don't waste your time near throttle body housing where that slight cast bump is. You can't beat these for the price.

Defective part. Item was supposed to be better than the stock part due to a faulty check valve. It was not an improvement. The same piece broke when I installed and started the car. I would like forrie to either replace it or refund my purchase. There should be a orange rubber check valve covering that hole in the picture I uploaded. It blew off immediately after installing.
