Want expecting anythin fabulous il be honest but I'm eating my wordsThis is such a great value for money fly screen complete with ample double sided tapes/velcro stickies Not a single fly or bug has come thru the 2 windows I have put it up at1 package did 2 windows My kitchens 2 bits & the larger window in bathroomTo pyt it up the Easiest way I found was to apply the tapes then press the 4 corners in place smooth down Then I cut off excess on bottom of tea smaller upper windows After I had applied to the upper windows on my kitchen & bathroom I had just enuff leg to do the side opening bathroom windowGreat value for money Been up & keeping all buzzing creeping crawlying flyin thing out Worder full 👍🐝😹

Bought this for summer as I wanted to leave windows open at night and make sure no spiders and moths came in (i'm terrified of them!) This really did the trick. Yes it is a bit flimsy and the velcro comes unstuck in places but its under £2! All these people giving it bad reviews are making out like it broke the bank! If you bought netting and velcro from the craft/department shop it'd be at least £10. I resolved the velcro problem by sticking the adhesive side to double sided tape and doubled the edge of the netting on itself for strength and its stayed up for months!Don't buy if you're fussy or need it quickly. It did take a few weeks to arrive but it tells you at the checkout that its coming from far away so its to be expected but overall I recommend.

I really can't stand bugs and was fed up with roasting at night having to keep my windows closed during summer.After reading the reviews of this product, both positive and negative, I thought I would chance it as the price, £3.63 when I bought it, was something I could afford to lose.The mesh itself is about 1-1.5mm, still big enough to let in fruit flies, so I doubled it up as I only have one small window to cover.The velcro is useless, but I was prepared for this. I simply used insulating tape to hold it in place on the top and sides, and used the velcro to hold the bottom in place. That way I had an opening to open and close the window.Another good thing is that from 2metres away, you can't really see the mesh. At first I thought it had fallen off!So far, I've kept my windows open most of the time, and all night, and only a few little fruit-fly sized insects have got in. No moths or craneflies yet. So overall I am happy with the product. (In fairness though, I could have made it myself with some fine mesh fabric and insulating tape.)Only downside is it has gone down by over £1 since I bought it.

I think I have enough spare for another window.The net has to be cut to match the window size (and a little bit extra all around just in case), use a tape measure (a reel/spool kind is best), if you don't have one; get one, it will come in handy in future. Then you cut the strips that secure it (strong sticky on one side, velcro on other) apply that to the inner frame on all sides all the way around and then put your net over the velcro and press down, you can overlap any spare net onto the velcro too. Or you could just slap the strips on, press all the net on and snip the edges off without the measurement, but you might loose the spare. There you go, you can leave that on forever and when you open the window you will feel safe from bugs.This net means I can open my window in the summer to cool my extremely warm room (due to a big powerful computer, two monitors and maybe a console).I hate insects anywhere near me; flies, wasps, bees, spiders etc. As soon as a window is open one of them will inevitably invade my space and make me angrier than usual.This net is an efficient way to combat the problem. My window can open and I can breathe fresh air again.Now if only there was a way to levitate a net around my body's personal space at all times, this would keep people out too, someone get to work on that.

Do Not Buy!I read the reviews some stating it was good and did the job and some saying the velcro tape keeps falling down...i brought it anyway. Absolute rubbish. Dont waste ur money the material is so cheap and flimsy and the velcro tape DOES NOT STICK DOWN and i dont have upvc windows (plastic) just wooden framed windows and it just peels back up! Used pins also to try and keep in place! Nothing works. It deserves a 0 star but i cant give that!! Better off finding a better quality fly screen and having a good old search and also purchasing heavy duty separate Velcro's!! I brought 3 packs of this please read my comment and i hope you dont by this! Uk based customer!! ***UPDATE*** So I gave the review before 2015 but since then I have made the nets work for me by buying heavy duty velcro for the windows and once I use the nets with it, it stays on no problem all I have to do is keep opening the area to get to the window handle to open the window and then stick the net back down to the velcro. Ive been replacing it once a year with fresh nets as they start to rip over time with opening and closing of the window. Now in terms of delivery I have not made any review of it until now! I ordered the nets 28th April 2017 and it was due 2nd June 2017... no delivery nothing so I checked my Amazon Orders this morning (3rd June 2017) for it to now tell me it will be expected 7th June. I am really annoyed and quite p'd off as I have waited since the end of April! I have just contacted the seller so will await response however if I am not satisified I will cancel this and get a refund. ***UPDATE*** It never arrived and got a full refund on the nets I purchased, Amazon informed me not to buy any more from this seller. Such a shame for me as the price was ideal so will look elser where.
