Little Tikes Turtle Sandbox - Outdoor Playset for Toddlers - Safe & Portable - Encourages Creative Play

I have literally bought several HUNDREDS of toys but this is one of my top 5 summer toys for my kids. I wasn't able to take it out last summer due to it raining every single day 😒 but this year, it looks like we actually may have a summer and the kids were elated that they were able to play with it once again.Pros: Provides many hours of fun. Keeps kids entertained and out of my hair. My 8 year old still loves to play with it so you can get plenty of use out of it. Heck even I like to play around with the taps! 😆 Good quality product. Cleverly designed. Keeps kids off the tablet and gets them thinking about how things work. Fantastic summer toy that can be played by just one kid or shared with a few.Cons: Bit of an arse to put together but when set up it will stay up. Leaks water at the bottom for some reason. Taps are too tough for my 4 year old to turn on / off. Can only use in on warm days as kids inevitably get soaking wet. Bulky so storing it in my house is a bit of an issue in the colder months.Would I recommend it? Definitely! It's made summer so much more fun in my house! My kids absolutely love it and I get a lovely break!

Really well made, sturdy, great size - our 18 month old twins both sit in it and have lots of room to move and have toys. It’s really great. It has two built in seats too.Once it’s filled with sand (I used 3 big bags) you won’t be able to move it, so choose a place carefully. Bear in mind that if placed on a lawn, all the grass underneath it will die.I bought some green ‘bungee cords’ (the ones with hooks on each end) and use those to hold the cover in place when not in use to keep the sand dry. Otherwise it’s a very loose fit and will blow away with the wind.Beware, slugs love to crawl inside where they die in the sand. Every time we open it we have to scoop out 3 or 4 slugs before the children can go in it.

Compact and brilliant for kids who love sand & construction. We have a small garden and this is perfect. The big digger arm can keep you entertained for hours and the little toys are also brilliant. 100% recommend for kids age 2-4

My son plays with this for hours, obsessed so try construction! The toys which come with it are great, more to an enough to keep kids busy for a good while. He loves using the ramp to transport sand. We initially just used this as a play toy which was indoors in the winter as adding sand would be too messy. It’s expensive but we’re happy with it! It’s sturdy and a robust toy for the garden.He doesn’t like sharing it when other kids are about but I imagine 2 toddlers can share this comfortably.Be careful if your kids try sitting on the big digger bit though, as they lift the arm they can fall back so best have it on grass or not near a wall until they learn not to do that.The cover isn’t completely water tight so bare that in mind with what you store inside it

This is a good value toy - we got a far better price on Amazon than elsewhere. Both our 4 year old and particularly our 2 year old love it - they spend ages making up stories involving the little pirate characters (and a large number of other plastic toys usually get brought in for a swim too...) and playing with pouring water about with the cups. I'd highly recommend it for kids who are water-obsessed like ours.The build quality is decent and it's easy to put together, the only issue may be having enough space to store it as although the mast can be taken down the legs are screwed on and not removable once in place - so make sure you have somewhere to keep it as it's quite large. My only other niggle with the design is that the cannon unclips from it's snap-in position a bit too easily and the hose on the cannon is too short (could be replaced - it's just a piece of clear plastic tube), which means unless the table is full to the brim you can't really use it in-situ. This part could have been better thought out. Other than that it seems to be robust enough for average use, and we've used it a lot with no visible wear and tear to any of it so far. We haven't left it outside to store though so I can't speak for it's durability against a good old British summer.Note that once you've filled up it it's very hard to move without two people (e.g. if you want to relocate it from outdoors to in when it rains) and even then you'll probably spill some, and that you have to reach underneath to pull the plug out as the plug secures from the bottom upwards which means that if you want to empty it into a bucket you'll have to lift it at the same time which usually leads to spillage...

During the hot weather I bought this for my 2 dogs to cool down. Wow best thing I’ve bought them. Great that the lid or turtle back comes off and keeps it covered. My neighbours little girl was in and out of the pool too having a great time. I can see how excellent it would be as a sand pit too for kids. But during our heatwave it was a god send for the dogs keeping them lovely and cool. So worth every penny for this item. I clean it out easily every few days or so as it gets grubby with the dogs and then the water goes on the garden. Only don’t do what I did last time and that is tip it up to empty the water out as the weight cracked the base open. Use a jug to empty into a bucket and then water your plants or into the drain. Definitely a Best Buy of the year item.

Was skeptical as the reviews were mixed, but it’s a great water table, I have a 2 year old and an 8 month old and they both love it and I know it’ll get a lot of use in the future!
