Jumbo cat scratcher lounge

We have been re-introducing our cats to each other after one got lost for a couple of years and thought this jumbo cat scratcher might give them neutral ground - enough room to be together without anyone stepping on toes. It works really well and it looks good. One lies on top and one lies underneath. Very sturdy. Ours had a big scratch along the top when it was delivered but we just turned it over as top and bottom are the same and the cats are going to scratch it to bits anyway. Would perhaps recommend a wee bit more paper packaging for protection during transit. it is long enough for the cats to get a really good long stretch and scratch. Still looks great after 3 months of daily use. We've even had someone try to sit on it thinking it was furniture!! If your cat prefers scratching vertically the ends are good for that if a little low. They may prefer the triangular version of this product. The price is at the higher end for a scratching post but you get what you pay for and this worth the investment. Would recommend.

Quite likely you may be wondering how long this Scratcher will last, so I'm inserting this update at the beginning (and new review title) now I've had this over six months. Today, 'side one' was worn out to the point I had to turn it over to use the second side. So one side, one cat, has lasted six months. Meaning the whole thing is likely to last over a year. I'm happy with that, but more importantly, my cat has been ecstatic about the thing! This Scratcher has easily relegated his (previously popular) deluxe 4 foot scratching post to second place! Although I have only one cat, in fairness to this product I should add that he's big and strong and has mercilessly scratched this for a minimum of 15 minutes a day. Which (added up) means side one has lasted a solid 2 days and 2 nights of scratching! I HAD to turn the Scratcher over at this point exactly because if I didn't, the worn side would become too 'rounded' to 'sit' properly without tipping over now it has to be the supporting side, face down on the carpet. And I may yet 'level' side one (maybe with an electric carving knife?) - which would mean this product would last a further six months - in which case this scratcher would last a year and a half. Great value! As an aside, it's been funny offering my cat the new side, he was enjoying the worn side all the more for the 'imprints' he's made in it! (Update ends here). This is a wonderful thing. Being fond of cardboard and newpapers for settling on, cats are similarly immediately drawn to this brilliant, inspired product. My 'indoor cat' tom breaks up his day by cumulatively spending hours either sitting, reclining or washing on this. Validate your cat/s and dedicate to them a new favourite space! (Quite apart from anything else, how on earth they can even make a product like this is a mystery, a technical marvel!)

I have one giant, and one normal sized tom cat. Bought this because they fought over a smaller sized one. I thought two layers/bunks they could share it. Plus it looks big enough on top for the both of them, which it 100% is. It's sturdy, big, and EXACTLY what I wanted, but my boys won't share it. 😂 This is an AMAZING PRODUCT but it looks like the issue lies with the cats. 😂 In all seriousness, this is good. I was nervous of buying such a expensive object solely for cats to scratch. The cats love it and I'm hoping that it will last a very long time. They take turns (sometimes forced by each other 😂) to sleep on it. The top is big enough for both. Neither of them have used the Lower level but they are big boys. They would not be able to scratch there, it's too low for them. It would be big enough to sleep in, but mine haven't yet. Anyone who has a few cats knows how fast some cardboard scratchers can be destroyed. You can spend £5-20 on a scratcher every month. I can see already after a few days that this is definitely high quality and will last a lot longer, I'll let you know if it doesn't. I am recommending saving up that small scratcher money and buy this if you have the space, and want happy cats. 🖤 UPDATE - see picture. Two cats on top 😂 YEARLY UPDATE - 13th Feb 2021 - Still amazing over a year later. Honestly the best £60 I spent on a cat scratcher!

Kefir is a big fan of PetFusion lounger/scratchers. His usual one is currently out of stock, so I went for this one. I was worried about the size as it's so big, but you quickly get used to it, and it's such good quality it's actually also a bit like a sculpture. Unlike the figure of eight shaped ones, Kefir actually uses the inside as well as the outside, so it's standing up to wear & tear for much longer, making it better value for money. Unlike cheaper loungers (which Kefir tips over & kicks around) this is heavy & sturdy. He sleeps on it, plays on it, and it's protected our furniture from his razor claws. I am not connected to PetFusion in anyway, I'm just a happy customer. Their products are just so much more superior!! *Quick update: bought another in April 2021 and it's only just about to get replaced now at the end of December (unheard of longevity in our house!). Please please Amazon & Petfusion - get these back in stock!!!!!

Je connais très bien cette marque de Griffoir (qui devient difficile a obtenir) et sa qualité de produit donc j'en ai pris deux du coup pour ma petite troupe. Ce sont des griffoirs très solides et qui durent dans le temps, que les chats apprécient beaucoup, qu'ils soient petites, grands, gros... tous les chats peuvent s'y prélasser, se défouler sans que le griffoir bouge, tombe ou soit sous dimensionné. A ce prix là actuellement c'est une très bonne affaire au vu de sa qualité et de sa durée (des années..) Essayez de continuer à nous procurer cette marque fiable pour nos minous.

It is a bit expensive but worth every single dollar. It is a high quality material and much sturdy than the one I bought from ebay. My babies love it and spend a lot of time to attack it...lol

È robusto, funzionale, i gatti lo adorano ed è adatto ai gatti grandi e pesanti come i Main È anche bello da mettere in casa perché sembra un mobile moderno, potrebbe essere un tavolino porta riviste, un poggia oggetti, ecc.

A mi gata le encanta este rascador. Se tumba encima, se mete en el hueco, y lo más importante, le encanta rascarlo. Es grande, robusto, de gran estabilidad y calidad , y tiene muchísima superficie para rascar. Recomendado 100%.

I actually received a damaged scratcher initially, but the company was able to rectify the situation right away and sent me a new one in perfect condition. I was a bit scared at first that my cat Chibi might not take to it and they give you instructions on how to get your cat used to the scratcher + catnip :). Luckily, it took only a day for Chibi to warm up to the scratcher and now he loves scratching, lounging and playing with it all the time! Definitely on the pricier side of cat things, but I can tell that it's a premium quality scratcher that will last us several years and looks great in the house too. If you're hesitant, just do it! Pet Fusion has great customer service so I have no doubt that they will be happy to help you out if you're not satisfied.
