Update to original review,The seller reached out and provided a replacement which has been considerably better and is still in new condition after over a week of use everyday.Old reviewI don’t know if I have received a defective unit perhaps but these have barely been used and now they are very off. When I first used them they did seem to work well but less than two weeks and already wearing out is not great considering the fairly high price.

Good.I had a few days off from work so I put the boot bananas in my work boots for 4 days straight, where they worked hard to very slowly neutralize an old, disgusting smell.I am a bit worried that the bananas have become discoloured after a single use, perhaps I got a bad batch?Overall recommended.UPDATE 2 WEEKS ON:Mold has grown on the bananas and they have become even more discoloured. I genuinely cannot imagine these lasting 2 months, much less the advertised 6 to 12 months. Not recommended at their current price point. If the price was halved, say £7, then they would be worth it. Not so at close to £17.UPDATE 3 WEEKS ON:I received a message from the seller explaining the item and its intended use and have realized I wasn't using the bananas as intended - If used in sweaty work boots, they're meant to be used in conjunction with their boot dryers, to avoid the bananas being oversaturated by sweat. Review moved to 5 stars due to attentiveness and professionalism of seller.

I love my shoe bananas! 🍌 Have a pair of suede leather mules I wear to work but they smell REALLY bad! After just one day of having the bananas in them, they’re smelling better already! And they feel drier too 😃👍

Didn’t last very long before going brown and wasn’t particularly effective at countering my sins smelly feet.

They worked only for 2 weeks and sadly my tennis shoes don't smell nice and fresh anymore.New feedback:Changing to 4 stars because customer service was helpful and resolved the problem fast
