Lovely item. The grass grows well, definitely recommended for adult or child. Puts a smile on your face when you look at it.

So nostalgic and a big hit with the kids!
This made an excellent stocking filler! My 4 and 7 year olds have loved watching the hair grow. It didn’t start to sprout until day 5 so I did begin to panic we had a dud for a bit but then voila! It grew like bonkers! Haven’t trimmed it yet but my girls are looking forward to styling it with bows!

We love him.
Just a good laugh and it actually looks really good. The kids think he's ace so it's a nice bit of fun and we're happy with the purchase.

Great Father's present for a gardening Dad
I must admit, I got this for the other half in the form of a Father's Day present solely to take the mick out of how much time and energy he puts into growing the "perfect putting green" for his golf practise in the back garden. I feel like the jokes on me however as he cares for this grass head just as much as the putting green!! Apparently it took a while to get going but with regular trims and watering it does very well. He only trims it over 6cm (LOL) and keeps it in a well lit area. Good luck if you want a gripping, fascinating hobby like this

50/50
Have bought this twice a few years apart. The first time was a great success but second time around nothing has grown, the kids keep hopefully checking but I'm pretty sure it's a dud!

Bit expensive but good fun and easy
Instructions not great but sat it in water, kept lightly watering head every day and this is after 7 days

brilliant fun for all ages
I bought 3 of these as stocking stuffers for my teenage children as they have always liked them. I wasnt sure whether they may be a little old for them now, but thougth what the heck, I like them! All 3 were really pleased to have them, and started watering them immediately. You do need to give them a good soaking daily to get them going, and the seeds take a good week to germinate at this time of year (winter). But once they start sprouting, they just dont stop! My husband is also delighted and amazed at how much 'hair' has grown every day! So I am now buying an extra one just for him - who'd have thought it - good fun whatever your age!

Hard to judge yet
I've watered it daily but now stopped for a bit and the grass is growing very very slowly. The instructions aren't very clear on weather u water the actual plant or the pot under it

Great product. Very educational. Our baby just loved it to water and see how the hair grow.

So much fun for little kids especially since we are all home in a Covid-19 lockdown. It’s nice to see the progress and the kids can trim the grass. It’s nice in the winter to involve them in growing something that’s theirs. In the spring we can get back to planting things outdoors.

Face not like picture and glue is visible, very small (smaller than a fist), the plant ball came with clear low quality very small plastic vase
