Q: Should the black nozzle that you connect the orange hoselock connector to have a hole somewhere to let the water from the hose through into the unit?

It’s the hose fittings that’s the problem. Found an old connector that works. Small holes in the back. Not tried in the tub yet but seems ok

46 inches but we aware feels fragile particularly at joints. Excellent otherwise in every other way. Just be careful not to apply to much force When in use
