Petrol 58CC CHAINSAW - WORKS VERY WELL !
I Ordered this to help tidy my Garden, It was Delivred fast. It comes with a good (English UK) User Manual thats not your Usual CHINENGLISH. I followed the Instructions & the only bit i had problem with was the Chain was a Bit Tangled as it was in a small Plastic Package too Save Space & its a bit of a Puzzle to Untangle. But its just a matter of not rushing & Taking your time ( It Will Untangle )The Rest went Smoothly - The Chain Catcher Spikes must be Put on First otherwise you will have to Start from the beginning - But follow the Manual & You will have it all Assembled & ready to Commission in around 20 Mins. Just Add Your Chain Oil & Make up some Two Stroke Mix & Fill Tank. Your Good to GoPump the Fuel Bulb - Pull Out Choke Give 2 Pulls & Then Put Choke Back in & a Few More Pulls & It will Start - Mine Idled very Fast so Make sure the Brake is Engaged before you Start for SaftyCuts Really Well - I Tested the Kick Back Arrest and it Worked PerfectlyTreat with Respect & You will have no Issues with this Chainsaw - VERY GOOD FOR MONEY !Always Wear Chainsaw Protective Cloathing ( Cut Resistant Chaps, Chainsaw Proof Gloves & Eye Protection ) - BE SAFE !

Love it.
Worth every penny. This isn't my first chainsaw from Parker. Nice comfortable working weight and easy to start. My only criticism would be it drinks fuel ⛽️ but then it is a big saw.

Does the job nicely
I deliberated for some time about which chainsaw to buy - while attracted to the big names which carry very positive reputations, I couldn't justify several £100's for occasional logging to feed our wood burning stoves, and general garden maintenance. So I bought this on the basis that it's cheap, has a spare chain, and while reviews tend to be variable, there are good demonstrations on YouTube which show the chainsaw *can* work very well. The package sold by Parker included a spare chain which seemed like a good deal, and there was evidence of the company responding promptly and helpfully to customer queries on Amazon, so I chose that supplier.Having used it for a couple of weeks, and used today quite intensively, I'm very impressed with the saw, particularly given the price. Construction is fine - the plastic doesn't feel particularly flimsy to me, the bar is rigid, the safety mechanism (chain brake) works instantly, and starting is, in the main, achieved with 3-4 pulls. No problems with chain oiling - the oil reservoir is exhausted at approximately the same time that the petrol tank is emptied, and the chain seems well oiled. In common with at least one other reviewer, I found that I had to remove and re-seat the spark plug and electrical connection to get the machine to start for the first time. But after that - no further problems. If starting from cold, it will typically run for a few seconds on the choke, and then cut. One further pull with the choke in, and it's ready for work.I share the criticism of the position of the on-off switch; it's close to where your hand goes on the throttle and very easy to knock off accidentally. But that's my only gripe, and it's hardly a major one given the price of the product.Don't expect too much of the items that are provided "free" - the case and tool bag are flimsy and I don't expect them to last long, and you'd be well advised to get a proper chain file with guide bar for sharpening. But for me these are incidental issues - I can buy a high quality file and bag for a few £'s.Overall, very happy - so far, it feels like a real bargain.

A good tool
A great value tool for keen armatures. The build quality is very good and instructions are clear. The website has the most common parts listed at reasonable prices. I have felled and sectioned about a dozen pine trees so far and the saw has not needed any maintenance, chain still reasonably sharp. I like this tool a lot, so far...

I LIKE THIS SAW
I have been using saws for over 20 years and I have to say I really like this saw I look after some woodland and my usual saw broke and is going to take a while to fix so I bought this as I really just can't do without a large chainsaw. I like the feel of it it has good grips on the handle and is nicely balanced it starts really nicely and it's good that you can use normal fuel mixed with high quality 2 stroke oil. It sounds good and powerful and revs really responsivly. Would recomend this to anyone I use it for work and it looks good to. the chains are good quality also and its nice how you get the extra bits with it.I think i will carry on using this saw even when i get my expensive one back as i do prefere the feel of this one. It cuts nicely and fast and it feels sturdy and safe its got a good heavy feel to it but not to heavy😀😀

Just the job
I dont need a super top spec chainsaw. I need one to cut a few logs up now and again. This is just the job.Its not expensive and, yes, I am sure you get what you pay for. However, it was easy to assemble once you realise the CD isnt shipped to UK customers as its just the manual in other languages. Also realise the instructions refer to two models which have different chain tensioner operation. I wasted 5 minutes before it sunk in!It started exactly as it said it would: a couple of pulls with the choke out then in and away. Make sure the chain was free to move before this as I am sure you may cause issues if its too tight. As for performance ...just see the above first cut. Took seconds for a recently felled branch about 8-9 inches across. Clean cut with no fuss. This will be perfect for my purpose. Thank you.

never buy this make again
used once, worked fine, nothing exceptional. never worked again, contacted parker, still under the 2 year warranty, but because we bought through amazon and not direct, we were not covered, would have cost £50 for me to return it for service, then the cost of repair on top. Expensive for breaking down after one use. will stick to known brands from now on.
