I purchased this originally as an alternative to a solvent treatment. However it should be noted that it contains nuts.

The product information is a bit vague in terms of ingredients. It states blah blah natural waxes and oils, but nothing specific. Being vegan, I was deliberately avoiding beeswax, and I took a punt that if the product did contain it, the label would say as it's a sign of quality. The wax has arrived and does contain beeswax so I'm annoyed about that. I'm not sure why they avoid actually saying what's in it.It's not bad to use, and has made a kuksa and chopping board look pretty good.Anyway, in case people want to know:Ingredients - Tung Oil, Mineral Oil, Almond Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Beeswax, Carnauba.

Very good oil to treat chopping boards and any other wooden kitchen utensils and bread boards.

Excellent product, easy to use, very little needed to protect a vey large chopping board. Lasts well too.

This doesn't seem to offer as much protection as Danish oil for my butchers block however it is far more convenient. I rub it on a section at night, in the morning its soaked in and I buff off any excess. Would purchase again, came really quickly and I find it convenient to use.

we are now recommending to all customers of our LONDINIUM lever espresso machines that they care for the solid wenge wooden handles on the machine with this product.Having previously used mineral oil which just soaks into the wood and disappears and also a beeswax cream which was too aromatic. this product is quick & easy to apply and forms a wax protective layer on the surface of the wood which repels water and stops the wood from cracking. we are also now using on our wooden chopping boards. an exceptional product - you can even just rub it on with you finger, assuming there is no risk of picking up a splinter from the wood you have
