Midori 49360006 – Clear Plastic Case for Notebook, A5

I wanted a protective clear cover for my A5 Hobonichi Plain Notebook. This comes with a cover of thick card, which is ok but will likely not last, given that the notebook contains 288 pages. So having checked the measurements of the notebook and this Midori cover, I knew that they could work together. They do.The notebook was a tight fit, and I had to bend back both the front and rear book covers so I could slide them into the end slots. Once inserted, the notebook closes properly and when opened, still lies flat. The thickness of the Hobonichi Plain Notebook is 10mm with W: 148 x H: 210, so if your notebook is equal or less than those dimensions, you should be able to use this very nice Midori A5 cover. BTW I believe the Half Year Cousin has the same dimensions as the Plain Notebook.The plastic is flexible yet thick, very clear and looks to have a solid seam. There is a pen slot on the rear cover, which seems to be of thinner plastic but I won't be using it, as I keep my pens in a pen case.Overall I'm very pleased with this Notebook case. It looks good, does the job well and above all fits the notebook I bought it for.

From other reviews, I was nervous to try this, but it absolutely fits my Stalogy 365 notebook perfectly! The quality is great and I didn’t have to pinch or pull at it to make it fit. 10/10 will be getting another one as the stalogy notebook covers do tend to split with use!

The cover fits my Midori MD Notebook - A5 Ruled Paper perfectly. Makes the paper cover a lot more solid. And it doesn't interfere with the excellent open-flat design of the Notebook either. And seeing as you can reuse the covers it makes archiving and buying new notebooks a bit cheaper than alternatives.While I like the soft-cover and plastic cover design, please note it doesn't stop the book from bending in a bag or similar. It doesn't add much rigidity - just protects the paper cover.

Love everything about this cover

I got a Aura Estelle complete weekly for 2024 and it was slightly too thick for my old cover which I used to use for a hobonichi cousin. Was searching around and trying different covers until I found this one! This fits perfectly, not too loose and not too tight!

It came with a tear in it… So annoying as hoped I was going to repurchase for my other journal but now i don’t think i will
