Cheap and cheerful
Was sceptical of this after reading some reviews, but it works great! Seems pretty sturdy, made short work of plaining a door. Ideal for a basic DIY person on simple domestic wood projects.

Entry level Plane
Basic plane for trimming the base of a door that was jamming in door frame. Door was taken off hinges and lower section reduced, not precision work. Simple enough tool for a simple task, price and practicality of instrument matched the task.

Effective for shaving down bits of wood quickly
For when a file is not quite enough. Simple to change blades.

Lightweight, but strong. Replaceable blades available, to extend life. Has multi uses. Reputable name.

Flimsy
The blade supplied was mis-aligned so makes using it awkward to say the least and the handle came loose after 5 minutes use but easily fixed . Not very good on hard wood and larger surfaces but good for plasterboard and lightweight work.
