Dragon Ball Gt: Season 2 [DVD]

I am personally a big fan of Dragon Ball GT and wanted to pick up a physical copy of it when it arrived there was no defects really good quality box if your thinking of getting the complete GT set for a collection don’t bother just get season 1 and season 2 of these as it makes for a better collection 10/10

Dragonball GT season 2 is freakin awesome. it contais the last 32 episodes of GT and also a really good movie. I don't know how some don't like it. I didn't like season 1 but 2 is amazing. the battles are awesome especially ssj4 goku vs baby vegeta and ssj4 goku and vegeta vs omega shenron. also the movie is good cause it reminds me of dragonball and see how even 100 years after there's still a small goku go to adventures like his great great grandfather (the original goku).I'd suggest this box set to every fan of dragon ball and dbz so get it now!

just finished watching the last Dvd and eventhough I am still of the opinion that db super is better than GT I enjoyed rewatching them and loved adding it to my collection of the Dragonball world.

this is second and and a final series of Dragon Ball GT this is how bought these both of the seasons. i bought this item because it's for my brother's birthday present.

i liked the serie, but i get why most don't see it as a must have for the complete dragonball series

I saw the series years ago on tv and when I found it was on dvd I got it. Also I am a big dragon ball fan it is a great series. Thank you.

Fantastic. These DVDs have improved my perspective of GT. A very good season, with an added bonus of a film too!! A must for Dragon Ball fans

Super Saiyan 4 Goku and Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta are awesome in the final season of DBGT and the series reaches a satisfing conclusion.

Meiner Meinung nach die wohl beste Saga. Alles was einem bei DBZ noch so derbe auf die Nerven ging, wurde hier weggelassen. Keine unnötigen Kamerafahren über die Gesichter, keine ultra nervigen Zwischenstorys von Bulma oder Mr. Satan. Pralle Story und Action am Fließband. Der Content der in DBZ in knapp 300 Folgen steckt, der Steckt hier in geballten 64 Folgen. Ich habe mich bewusst für die Japanische bzw. englische Version entschieden, weil ich finde, dass die Japanische Sprachausgabe mit dem englischen Untertitel (leider kein deutscher) die beste Kombination ist. Die deutsche Synchronisation ist sowas von schlecht, dass es einem als DB-Fan die Socken auszieht... Die japanischen Sprecher schaffen es einfach viel besser die Stimmungen und Emotionen rüber zu bringen. Ich kann es jedem DB-Fan nur empfehlen.

Throughout the years we have watched one of the most noble and pure hearted men grow from naïve child to fierce warrior. Now we reach the final season of Dragon Ball GT. After handling evil in many shapes and forms, Goku has to defeat his deadliest of all opponents, himself! After the defeat of Baby and the jump to Super Saiyan 4, all Goku and the gang want to do is relax. Sorry guys you're not out of the woods just yet! Goku has to first take down a few old foes just to find out that the Dragon Balls which has relied upon to bring peace and good to the world have turned against him. Now the balls have broken and each one has released its own evil Shadow Dragon. Each one is stronger than the next and Goku doesn't even know if Super Saiyan 4 can take them down. While this show has been dumped on by many loyal fans I have to say the ending of this show was quite impressive. Considering that there was only one more season to work with the writers really tried to cram it all in and tie up all the lose ends. Many events and characters from Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z play a role in these final few episodes so you will be pretty surprised how it is all incorporated together. I love the fact that after all the adventures that the Z gang has had over the years it was Goku himself that almost cost every one certain doom. In the end of all things Goku makes a Frodo like exit from the world realizing that he is too dangerous to be a part of this world and this time he meant it for good. I liked how the show was just given a strait up ending in Goku's exit and in the end the whole story was really put together quite nicely. I feel that GT is a very important series to watch especially since Dragon Ball Z really didn't seem to be the perfect ending, but GT definitely got it right and the in the end I was satisfied.

Neben dem japanischen Original für mich die beste DB GT-Fassung überhaupt! Im Gegensatz zu anderen Anime wie Yu-Gi-Oh!, welches von dem Amis ja geradezu zerstückelt wurde (ähnlich wie bei uns Naruto), blieb DB GT beinahe unangetastet. Sogar prüdere Szenen oder Nacktszenen, die bei den Amerikanern für gewöhnlich für Schockzustände sorgen, sind enthalten! Dazu noch eine passende Synchro und ein cooles Booklet (welches in Box 1 enthalten ist, in Box 2 komischerweise aber fehlt)! Noch dazu packten unsere englischsprechenden Kollegen deutlich mehr Folgen in eine Box als die geldgeilen Damen und Herren bei einem gewissen deutschen Anime-Label, welches dann sogar noch horrende Summen pro Box verlangt, die nicht einmal komplett in Deutsch daherkommt. Wohingegen die Boxen aus den Staaten recht erschwinglich, um nicht zu sagen sogar supergünstig sind! By the way: es versteht sich von selbst, dass Englisch-Kenntnisse hier dringenst von Nöten sind! Doch wer das kann, kann sich sowohl über eine komplett unzensierte englische sowie auch japanische Fassung mit amerikanischen Untertiteln freuen - wobei die deutsche Fassung nicht einmal die japanische Fassung bietet (ausgenommen die 13 Episoden, für die ein gewisser Hartz IV-Sender damals kein Geld ausgeben wollte und sie der Einfachheit halber einfach als "jugendgefährdend" abgestempelt hat (wobei in unserem Demokratenstaat doch ohnehin keine Zensur stattfindet *LoL*)...
