The pad may be small but it works. The small size means you need to pay attention to stick control and this leads to accuracy. Good rebound surface with a secure strap so you wear it on your/knee easily. Looks well made and feels good. It also lies flat so it can be used on a bed, table or cushion. Takes up little room and fits in a stick bag no problem. On the whole I'm happy with it.

Item just as described, ideal for those with some experience, if new to drumming I'd get A larger pad.

Good idea and easy to use. Just the job of travelling/wanting to quickly practice without hurting your legs.

I bought this mostly as a family in joke. My husband, who is merely one of the family drummers, uses every surface to practice his flams and fills and even spends some if his lunch hour focussed on his wrist technique. This has led hin to be banished from his staff canteen so this portable pad was perfect for his lunch time practice in the car. The head on the pad is indeed a good deal smaller than the average pad but it had been reported by the hubby that this is great because it is making him more focussed and it has helped him with consistency in his playing. In short, the joke turned into a very welcome and appreciated gift.

The pad is quite small, but once you get used to it, it provides a great bounce and feel, perfect for practicing anywhere. It is very quiet as well and the pad fastens easily to your leg.

glGood response, medium-hard surface but very comfortable to practice with, size is just enough to practice on the go. For me it works just fine and I recommend it!

I use this for practising rudiments and am very pleased with the feel and response of this pad. It is a little on the small size however this enables me to practice precision sticking which in turn means that when I go back to the real drums I have an 8 inch striking pattern, this keeps my kit drumming nice and neat. The only thing I was not bowled over by is the attachment strap which I would have preferred in velcro. Asides from that I am very pleased with this pad and recomend it to any drummer that needs a portable practice solution. Exellent value for money and a great practice tool.

Comparing all knee pads out there, this seemed the most reasonable. It is good quality, recommend!
