I didn't use the black ring and had the screws go insert from my side of the fence. Call me crazy, but I didn't want someone to be able to unscrew the bubble from the outside. I know, I know they are more likely to jump the fence than bring a drill or screwdriver and unscrew from the out side...or just kick it. It makes me feel better OKAY! Dog loves it though. The media could not be loaded. My cat kept sitting at the top of the fence to look over so I installed this and he loves it.I had a broken board in the fence so before i repaired the fnece i install this cook fence bubble... (just a headd up) I screwed on the black ring frame on the front side of the fence that way it can hold and seal tight even though the instructions said the opposite.. may have just been a typo. The screws are included so you just need something to cut the circle in the fence and a screwdriver or drill gun.

These are great! Perfect size! They are not small and not huge! For reference, our border collies are 40 & 50 lbs. highly recommend!

My first pair arrived cracked because they were loose in a big box. The second pair arrived today without the fasteners!! By the way, The new box-type stinks, the ends pop open.Please send screws!!
