Feels solid, an improvement on different make, cheaper plastic version
I hadn’t intended to spend this much, but got a lightning deal which made the purchase a bit sweeter. I had previously purchased a plastic type of ultrasonic cleaner but sent it back due to it giving off a nasty smell after using for a limited time. This model definitely feels more solid, and has benefit of heater which works well. My only gripe is the tray touches the bottom plate, a problem easily solved by popping a pencil each side for the basket handles to sit on. Does the job nicely, I use it for keeping a fountain pen collection clean. Works well at removing dried ink in difficult to get places.

Does not hold 2 litres
The 2 litre capacity stated is a bit optimistic and I was in two minds whether or not to send it back. However, it's a neat little unit that cleans well after 45 minutes or so and it's probably big enough for my needs. Also, the next size up of 3lt is £30 more. If you're only after a small unit then this will suffice although my advice would be to place up-to-temperature liquid in the unit first because it does take a while to heat up.

Great UC for the money
If you make sure this is full of water and do not run it for longer an about an hour at a time (allowing it to cool between cycles), this is a great UC bath. If it overheats, you are in danger of softening the special cement that attaches the ultrasonic transducer to the bottom of the bath causing premature failure. One thing to note, the water will heat up to about 44c even with the heater turned off, so this may be undesirable in certain situations. I use the bath for cleaning my vaping gear, and it works great. Just be careful of what you place in the bath, glasses with tinted coatings, painted metal etc. can be eroded or removed completely by the ultrasonic action.

Does the job
Cleans vape tanks perfectly with only a couple of drops of washing up liquid. Set for 45 degrees for about half an hour and jobs a good one. As for noise a buzzing sound is all you get so all good.

Good results for really dirty motorbike parts (small).
Based on some research I bought this to try out for a motorbike renovation, (1998 CBR900RR). Photo shows the rear brake after a 40 min dip. Must say am very impressed with the results. I did buy specific cleaner for the job. It is quite noisy but it gets used in the garage. Good buy, easy to use and have used for all sorts including carbs. I tend to heat water in kettle, speeds the process up.

Really good bit of kit
Use it at least 3 times a week to clean carburettors, really good piece of kit, make sure you empty it out after every use or it will start to rust.

Dogs danglies
I got this to make liposome vitamin c but I also have used it to dissolve carbon 60 into coconut oil which it does in hours, much quicker than the standard method of stirring for weeks. I have also read this tech is great for extracting the goodies out of herbal products. If it lasts I'll be delighted but I've already saved what it cost me on the home made c60
