according to Natures Aid website the ingredients are Sunflower Oil, Comfrey Root, Comfrey Leaf, Propyl Gallate, Chlorophyll

what is comfry oil used for

I used mine to aid the healing process on my knee, after a joint replacement , I'm sure that it helped, after talking to other people my recovery time was shorter and my wound is almost invisible. Hope this helps. The only downside it can discolour your clothing, I wore a thick knee bandage to counteract this if I wanted to wear 'good' trousers.

Can I add beeswax to this to make an ointment/salve

This ointment is excellent on its own, helps aches and pains very well, needs to be reapplied after about 2 hours, not sure about adding anything to it.
