Yep, they work
I found I had to get these to make my 3D movies working with my Xgimi projector as the ones I had for using with the tv don’t work with projectors. They are rechargeable though so that is handy and better than having to use batteries. Connection is a bit fiddly each time as you have to get the blu ray playing, the 3d setup started in projector settings (top and bottom view) and the glasses turned on, and each element complains if it can’t initially see the other 2! Keep pressing buttons until it all works and you’re fine.

The glasses work but leave a noticeable indent on your nose
Using these glasses with a 3600 lumens Optoma projector, which has a good reputation when it comes to 3D. I don't wear spectacles.First time using such a pair of glasses so nothing else to compare them too. 3D effect was good but a few niggles worth noting:1. Protective films were tricky to remove from glasses. Ended up having to use a pin to get under a corner of one of them (total of four used) in order to get it off.2. Indent left on bridge of nose is very noticeable after using the glasses for a couple of hours. I'll have to use a bit of tissue or some other soft material to stop this happening.3. Not enough peripheral vision is blocked out by glasses which takes from the emersion you experience. I'll try making up something to go over the glasses to see how much of a difference it makes.Overall they seem decent enough for the money - I paid £21 for them. Cheapest similar glasses on Amazon at the time of purchase that could be by bought by Irish residents was £19 but seller had very few reviews.

The most uncomfortable glasses you could ever wear!
Before I get into my complaint I would like to stress that the 3D works wonderfully and the charge lasts for at least two full movies.Unfortunately... These are the most uncomfortable glasses you could ever wear. They actually cause pain on your nose. They have a huge lump that sticks out the back of the 'nose gap' (I don't know the exact term) that stops you wearing them properly. Even if you could, the glasses are angled as if the screen is up high in front of you. You have to tip them on your head to look forwards.Unfortunately I did not own any 3d movies for my projector when I bought these so when I was finally able to test them properly I had just missed the returns window! I can't see me wearing these again. They are truly horrible (unless you have a deformed face I suppose!). I don't know what their 'designers were thinking! Did they even try them on?A total waste of money!

Might be good... with the right projector
I got this with the XGimi Elfin, which boasts 3D projection capabilities. In general, the glasses do work, but...I got a headache within about 10 minutes, possibly due to eye strain. Also, the colours of the movie were quite badly muted, even watching the film in a completely dark room. The Elfin is an 800 ANSI Lumen projector, and I suspect that is a big part of the issue. If you have the XGimi Horizon or another 2000+ ANSI Lumen 3D projector, I suspect the colour and brightness issue would be not a problem at all, possibly also solving the headache. So unless you have a super-bright projector, I'd say skip these glasses and 3D movies altogether.

Works with optoma
Works with optoma UHD55 no problem. Could do with being abit bigger. Hence 4 stars not 5.

Made the picture too dark to see
Used with a Halo+. The lenses darken the image making it less impactful. The larger the image, the better the effect but also the darker the picture. When this was small enough, the effect was lost. For me, no use.

Great but expensive and no case!
These glasses are lightweight and importantly fit over my varivocals perfectly. 3d effect is superb and just a press or two of the button adjusts it well. Now for the bad point, not even a soft pouch included let alone a hard caseQuality is okay but on the flimsy side. Lack of pouch seems a little poor.
