Very good value. Purely mechanical.
Second one I bought. Very satisfied. Bear in mind that it isn't a high-safety lock for exterior doors. But it is pretty sturdy, with no plastic parts. It serves its purpose very well for inside use, and being purely mechanical there are no extra worries with batteries. In my case, it matched the traditional lock holes pretty well, so the fit was also pretty simple. My only complaint is that the instructions on swapping the code should be clearer. Also, the code is not a sequence of numbers, but a group of numbers, which significantly reduces the number of combinations possible. But still, very good value for money.

Excellent product but make sure you have the right tools
This is such a great piece of kit, I will say it took me about 4 hours to construct together, change the code and everything, but theres no way of getting round that, its proper DIY, you will need a 25mm hole cutter drillbit, and a hacksaw/junior hacksaw to cut down the bolts to fit the width of your door. The template guide given worked perfectly though, Also the instructions were in perfect English BUT I will just say to the makers, you need to update your instructions, its clear these were like a first draft as youve left notes of wording to update and amend in the instructions for next version haha, quite unprofessional but oh well, figured it all out, and the design is really nice to look and looks much more expensive than it was. Great product, very sturdy, and as a locking mechnaism it works really well and smoothly.

I've fitted one of these and just ordered another. When fitted the lock is excellent. Easy operation and feels very solid secure. The only reason for not 5 star is the instruction are not always 100 per cent clear, but didn't cause any problems during fitting and operation. Considering a third for another door. The fitting went fine and I'm very pleased with how snug the lock is and how solid the operation is. I note on the new lock I have just ordered, a sticker highlights part of the process for changing the code (you have to press the C button whilst changing the "keys") I understand it is easy to damage the lock if you do not follow this step. If you can't pull the "keys" out with the supplied tweezers, it might be a faulty unit (I had one, but swiftly replaced).

Difficult to install.
Too tricky to install. It would be much better if a singular circular hole needed to be cut, ising a hole saw... but it's far less simple than that.

Great mechanical lock!
I wanted a lock for my boiler room, which also doubles up as my server room. As the room houses expensive equipment, I thought it wise to add a little protection in the form of a lock. Originally, I was going to put in a key-operated lock, whether it be a mortice or a deadbolt, but the only drawback was that I'd always have to have a key with me to open/close the lock, so after a little searching for alternatives I discovered this little gem! Granted, it may not be the cheapest of locks, or the easiest set of instructions to decipher, but the convenience of securing a room without having a separate key, as well as the build quality, is well worth it in my opinion. What I did not want is for the lock to replace my existing door handle, so after asking a few questions on Amazon, I decided to install the lock above the existing door handle, about half way up. The lock is well built and sturdy, and the instructions include a drilling template, which makes installation a lot easier. There's about six 10mm holes to drill in total - 2 for the fixing bolts, and 4 along the bottom in a row to help clear a slot for the spindles. Never having previously installed a lock before, nor having amazing DIY skills, I took a shot of installing this myself, and it's really not as hard as you might think! Unboxing the item and finding all of the different parts to install this lock was the most daunting task, especially to the unexperienced, but once you've made sense of where everything goes and what certain bits are for, it's all very straight forward. Be aware that there are fixing bolts and spindles that manually need cutting down to size, depending on the thickness of your door, so you may need some extra cutting tools, such as a saw, to help accomplish this. In conclusion, it's a great mechanical lock and I'm very happy as to the protection it offers, the build quality, and how it looks and feels on my door.

Installato sulla porta del box, ormai trasformato in officina, fa egregiamente la sua funzione garantendo un buon livello di sicurezza con la praticità di rendere l'accesso semplice non dovendo più avere le chiavi a portata di mano. L'installazione è stata semplice e, sebbene le istruzioni allegate siano di poco aiuto, è stato molto semplice trovare ottimo ed esaustivo supporto su Youtube. Prodotto altamente consigliabile con un buon rapporto qualità / prezzo.

Vino sin descripción y sin plantilla, pero esta todo explicado en youtube, lo malo que muy dificil a montar, necesitas herramientas profesionales para serrar un tornillo demasiado largo, y te dan solo 1716 combinaciones, así que no creas a la derscripción, haz números. Según mi opinion la cerradura no es nada segura. Según la descripción pone lo siguiente, que es un engaño total: “Los 14 botones ofrece, 8000 códigos de entre 4 y 7 dígitos con un cambio de código simple.” PARA EMPEZAR, el cambio de código no es nada fácil, tienes que desmontar toda la cerradura, quitarlo de nuevo de la puerta, sacar muchos tornillos, y en fin con una pequeña pinza sacando unas plantillas miniaturas podrás cambiar el código. POR SEGUNDO, no son 14 dígitos, porque un botón es solo para resetear, así que quedan 13 dígitos. Y POR TERCERO, este sistema te ofrece algo mucho menos que 8000 códigos, solo falta hacer un poco de MATEMÁTICAS , para averiguarlo. Hay que saber, que el orden de códigos no importa. El código 12345 es lo mismo que 54321 o 13245, etc. Entonces cualquier combinación de estos 5 dígitos, solo se puede contar como un solo código. Tampoco puedes elegir códigos donde hay que marcar el botón dos veces, porque este sistema no lo permite. Un código así por ejemplo no existe: 22343. Entonces cuantos códigos existen? La FÓRMULA es esta ——-> n= 13 botones, k =número de digitos elegidos (entre 4-7 digitos). ——> n! / {(n-k)! * k! } Para calcular 13! = 13*12*11*10*9*8*7*6*5*4*3*2*1 Ahora si eliges un código de 7 o 6 digitos, tendrás en ambos casos 1716 combinaciones. (13*12*11*10*9*8)/(6*5*4*3*2) Si eliges un código de 5 digitos, tendrás 1287 combinaciones. (13*12*11*10*9)/(5*4*3*2) Si eliges un código de 4 digitos, tendrás 715 combinaciones. (13*12*11*10)/(4*3*2). Ahora si contamos todas estas combinaciones, será 1716+1716+1287+715 pero no te pongas contento con este número, porque en realidad el sistema te permite probar varios códigos a la vez sin resetearlo. Por ejemlo cuando marcas el código 1234 puedes ya intentar abrir la puerta. Si no abre marca un solo botón más así por ejemplo comprobaras un código de 5 digitos 12345 y si no abre marca otro botón así comprobaras un código de 6 digitos 123456, luego comprueba un código de siete dígitos, intenta abrir la puerta, y si todavía no se abre, ahora sí que tienes que marcar el botón “C” para resetear y empezar de nuevo con otros códigos. En fin, con este sistema, compruebas con un código de 7 dígitos ya también los 6, 5 y 4 dígitos, así que cuéntalo, como si tuvieras solo 1716 posibilidades en total. Si compras un candado con tres dígitos giratorios, tienes 10*10*10 =1000 posibilidades. Y si compras el candado con cuatro dígitos ya tienes 10.000 posibilidades, así que con un candado de 5€ vas mucho mejor que con este juego de 14 botones que no te dan nada de seguridad ni comodidad.
