Bahia Paella Rice 1kg

Bit costly but very good quality rice.

I don't make authentic paella but, it is a custom variation of it. This rice is absolutely brilliant. I don't really let it form "the crust" as such and tend to let it finish off the hob to make sure any remaining liquid is absorbed. No complaints from the eaters in the household. We have just ordered another bag.

Decent rice Better than the supermarket stuff here in the UK. If you use it properly it’s separates from other grains as it should and don’t turn to mush Feels like the real deal

A little pricey for a small bag of rice, but if you want excellent quality and price is not an issue for you then I would definitely recommend.

Have bought this on the high st previously, it's a great rice I of less than half of what I paid on Amazon but couldn't get any in stores at present

My sister and I had a chicken paella in Alicante two or three years ago and loved it so much. So on my return home I bought a paella pan this rice and the paella seasoning sachets and made my very first dish. My family loved it and as a consequence I now cook paella at least twice a month. This brand is the best I’ve found so I’ve used it ever since. It’s just a shame about the price which is quite high.

Bought as a add onto to our new Paella dish. Never cooked Paella before and I must say it was very good. Would thoroughly recommend.

Tous mes convives ont adoré la paella préparée avec ce riz bahia. Il avait une texture fondante sans être devenu de la purée.

Appassionato di cucina, mi sono sempre chiesto come sarebbe stata una paella con il vero "riso da paella". Beh, vi dico subito che è favolosa, però ci vuole un po' di mano. Questo riso ha un gusto perfetto per questa preparazione ma non tiene molto la cottura. Quindi la prima volta mi è un po' scappato (appena appena, ma è scappato), la seconda volta cotto con il timer in mano (16 minuti esatti) è stato una spettacolo. Per intenditori con un po' di esperienza, però buonissimo.

Nulla da ridire. E' perfetto sopratutto se cotto in una paellera (anch'essa presa su Amazon). Decisamente consigliato se volete farvi una vera paella.

Forse leggendo le recensioni mi aspettavo chissà quale riso particolare. Direi un riso normalissimo che si può tranquillamente sostituire con un buon arborio spendendo molto meno della metà
