Optase Moist Heat Eye Mask

arrived promptly, easy to use, good amount of adjustment on the head band which is also elasticated in places for additional sizing and comfort. Has had an immediate effect on my dry eyes, which was a pleasant surprise and is much quicker and easier to use repeatedly during the day then other more traditional methods. I have been struggling with this condition for years and found the methods Doctors told me to use to be vey difficult to do but this is easy pop it in the microwave, providing you do have a microwave oven of course, for 30 seconds wear it for another 15 minutes till it goes cold and hey ho finished no messing about boiling water and buying cotton wool and ear cleaners, getting wet and uncomfortable or tidying up afterwards. If you do not have a microwave oven do not buy this as it can only be heated up in a microwave it cannot be done on the stove, under the grill or in a conventional oven nor with the use of a blowtorch, candles or cigarette lighter.

This was recommended by optician for my dry eyes. Only just started using but happy with the quality and ease of use.

I suffer from dry eyes, my eyelids can become swollen and itch and burn. I'm prone to clogged eyelid glands and I always feel tired with how bad my eyes feel. I didn't want it to cause anymore cysts, styes or an ulcer again if my eyelids stay bad. So I tried this heated mask and it's been amazing. I use it for 10mins if my eyes feel dry, swollen, burning or itchy. Sometimes if I've had a bad sleep or cried a lot I'll use it. And it helps every single time! My eyes feel moisturised and it stops the burning and itching feeling in my eyes. After using it for a few days it helps keep the swelling down too. I follow it up with the eyelid gel from the same brand and some dry eye drops. They always make my eyes feel like they've been at the spa. It's just instant relief and I no longer have to worry about my eyes getting worse. It does stay pretty hot for 10 mins, but after that it will be just warm. Which is fine since I only need the 10 mins. The beads cover the eyes completely and feels soothing. My only complaint would be having to heat it in the microwave. It's convenient and works yes, but there is a problem when I have to heat it in the microwave after someone's heated up food such as fish... It absolutely stinks. Sometimes even if the microwave still smells of food I'll heat up the mask still, but when I'm using the mask I can smell the food on the mask which obviously isn't very nice. Just something to think about when it comes to microwavable masks. It works great, but it sucks in the smell somewhat.

Really fantastic product and it is so simple to use. Offers a really comfortable and soothing feeling on your eyes. Simply pop it in your microwave for 30 seconds (no more) and then just kick back and allow yourself to relax for 10-minutes. My optician suggested using it once a day - but the instructions say to use it twice a day. After using it once, I thought I'd follow the written instructions and steal and extra bit of warm-heat relaxation.

Really like these, my eyes feel less sticky after using them. My Cat E microwave goes up in 10 second increments, I give them 20 seconds, it stays warm for about 10 minutes. Eyes feel so much cleaner afterwards. One word of warning, do not wash them, in particularly in hot water. My mum washed my second one after 5 days use and it fell to bits. Not the products fault, I shall be reordering.

This product is fantastic. I have used the eye mask for ten minutes every evening and it has really made a difference to my eyes. They feel less heavy and believe it or not .. the dark circles have faded! I was advised by my optician to use the mask the help the oils in my eyes ( dry eyes) and I totally recommend this! I have had this for 1 week so far. Follow the instructions and only heat in microwave for 25 seconds.. mine is 700w and I leave the mask for a cple of seconds then place on my eyes.. it provides a consistent warm moist heat retaining the warmth for the ten minutes. Soothing but of no use for treating blepharitis.

Ich bin bisher super zufrieden, die Maske tut meinen Augen sehr gut und ein weiterer super Vorteil ist, dass ich viel schneller und besser einschlafe, weil meine Augen dadurch schnell entspannen und ich auch mein Handy vorm schlafen nicht mehr nutze (da es nicht geht mit der Maske).

L'ophtalmologue m'a prescrit un masque chauffant que j'ai acheté en pharmacie...l'ayant égaré, j'ai trouvé ce masque Optase, et ô joie,j'en suis très satisfaite,je ne m'attendais pas à de tels résultats, il répond à toutes mes attentes: facile à placer, confortable, permet de chauffer les paupières comme il faut.

Rimedio "casalingo" per occhi "secchi" e affaticati, consigliato dal medico oculista si è rivelato molto efficace nel ridurre la sensazione di pizzicore e secchezza oculare. Non vale certo come terapia risolutiva, e utilizzatelo solo dietro suggerimento medico (se soffrite di glaucoma o altri disturbi della pressione oculare il calore anche moderato è controindicato), ma usato regolarmente allevia i fastidi. Non superate i tempi di applicazione suggeriti. Un consiglio, utilizzate delle compressine di garza o tessuto non tessuto tra le palpebre e la maschera per prolungarne la durata e mantenerla pulita, è lavabile ma deve asciugare almeno 24h quindi meglio lavarla il meno possibile.

Sirve como sustituto de las compresas de agua caliente que se recomienda utilizar para el tratamiento de la blefaritis. Yo pongo la máscara 25 segundos en el microondas y luego lo dejo sobre los ojos durante unos minutos antes de irme a dormir. Cuando lo quito hago un ligero masaje a los párpados. De esta forma puedo usarlo a diario, cosa que nunca había logrado hacer cuando usaba compresas con agua caliente, ya que era un método mucho más engorroso y lento. Aunque se puede lavar, yo he optado por utilizar un pañuelo de papel fino o una tela fina entre la máscara y los ojos para evitar que se ensucie tanto, ya que con el calor cualquier resto de maquillaje que no hayas limpiado bien acaba en la máscara. Llevo meses utilizándola y he notado mucha mejora en la sequedad de los ojos y en la inframación de los párpados, y es con mucho el sistema más económico que he utilizado hasta ahora. Sin duda lo volveré a comprar cuando deje de funcionar, aunque hasta ahora ha aguantado meses de uso diario sin que haya notado ninguna pérdida de eficacia.
