Easy Sprout Sprouter

Wow! What a product. It really does work! After many failed attempts to grow sprouts in normal jars, this really does the trick. It's incredibly easy to use. In a nutshell, soak the seeds (I tend to use alfalfa ones because they have more nutrition than other seeds and taste less bitter than many others when sprouted) for about 4-8 hours, drain seed mass and let rest, the seeds being wet. The next day, 24 hours later, add room temperature water to the sprouter, leave to soak for about 15 minutes, drain and leave seeds to rest another 12 hours. Within three to five days you have fully sprouted seeds. I'm so happy with this product. I have bought just one but will definitely buy another sprouter. Well worth every penny!

this product is fascinating, as it works! I havent tested its full abilities yet but at long last i have been able to sprout mung, chick peas and most notably mustard, alfalfa and other tiny seeds without them going mouldy or drying out etc which was the repeated outcome with my three layer plastic tray system bought from the health food shop.

Just soak seeds, drain, then leave somewhere undisturbed until ready to eat your fuss-free crunchy sprouts. Previous experience made me wary of their claim that there's no need to rinse. But, since both drainage and air circulation are built in to the sprouter design, I've found it's only really necessary for anything that tends to go a bit slimy. Plastic is BPA free and easy to clean. Only downside is the upfront cost - but its efficacy and convenience make it worthwhile. There are also some good YouTube guides from "sprout people".

I purchased one of these sprouters out of necessity after reading the reviews. Yes it is pricey but I wanted something that could do the job for me with a minimum amount of fuss. It arrived on time and after the first batch of sprouts I was very pleased with the outcome. I used one quarter cup of alfalfa seeds and within 4 days I had the most beautiful sprouts. I made a second batch using one tablespoon less seeds and the the outcome was really good. That is my measurement from now on. I was so pleased with the sprouter that I have since purchased a second to gift to a brother.

I'm very impressed with this sprouter. The salad-type seeds grew really well with just one rinse per day and the sprouts kept very well in the fridge. I refrigerated them in the EasySprout with the vented lid and they were just as fresh 7 or 8 days later. Much better than the tray sprouter I had before, when I was hard pressed to eat all the sprouts before they discoloured or got mouldy.
