Pricey, but works a charm
Dont get me wrong, this is a pricey pop filter, but you get what you pay for. It fits perfectly on the on the Rode Podmic, unfortunately takes awyay the the visual appeal of the podmic. Get it on sale if you can.

Pricey... But is it worth the money?
To start off with, i was struggling to find a wind shield for my podmic the rode ws2 does not state whether it is compatible with the rode podmic or not, but i had to give it a go as i was using a cheap knock off windshield that barely covered the top of the microphone and can confirm its a snug fit for the podmic. i also noticed a difference in sound quality after fitting this windshield to my microphone. straight out the packet you can tell this ain't any normal windshield, this is made from quality and it really is a quality windshield. i'm happy with my purchase and in my opinion it is definitely worth the price tag.

Does the job. Seems good quality
First impression it was more solid and 'prickly' than I expected, but it slid over my PodMic just fine. I'm only really wanting it to stop my spit getting in the mic, because I like to work up close, and I imagine, since it is quite dense, that will work fine. Haven't noticed any particular effect on the sound quality, but the PodMic has a built-in pop filter and isn't subject to 'wind' other than my breath, so hard to tell. Quite expensive for a wind shield, but seems a quality item that should stand up for years.

Fits like a glove
I use this on my Podmic, and it has a perfect fit. For the price, you could likely easily get a generic clone, but this has had zero issues, which I don't think is a guarantee with the clones. Although, I've noticed that having it all the way on actually still caused some issues with popping noises making their way through. Instead, I put it slightly up, leaving a small airgap between the windshield and the mic, which made all plosive noises practically disappear - I've shown a photo of this for reference. Overall, it's a great product - albeit pricey, and you get exactly what you need for the price, along with the security of RODEs customer support in the very unlikely case you'll have an issue with it.

Good quality and fit
Perfect for a Rode NT2A. I initially bought a cheaper generic foam windshield which I wasn’t impressed with. Considering that this genuine Rode windshield only cost £3 more I wish I’d bought this in the first place. I would recommend this for the Rode NT2A and NT1A, and I imagine it will fit most other large diaphragm condenser mics perfectly.

Nice warm coat for the RØDE
I was saddened that the NT1a kit did not include this foam muff, however, now having purchased it I am happy again. It is made for a variety of RØDE mikes and it fits the NT1a as snug as a bug in a rug. It is an alternative pop filter for narration, or a draught dampener in moving air. It works well and look the part. Don't hesitate; if this is what you are looking for buy it now, you will not be disappointed.

Excellent plosive rejection
I bought this for a Podmic but it fits on several other mics. It does an excellent job of minimising plosives for those who like to get close to the mic.

Really good Windshields.
I brought two of these, one for my Rode NT USB and the other for my partners Rode Podcaster. They fit our mics perfectly and feel very good quality. We tested to see how the 'Pops' were and its really good, both our voices sounded really good and hardly popped at all. We're both very pleased and think its well worth the money.

I bought this for Rode Podmic to Reduces Plosives , however Rode says that Rode Podmic has already internal pop filter but it doesn't reduce the plosives as it's suppose. with Rode WS2 Microphone Pop Filter the plosives gone and it's also help to reduce the background noise. Highly recommend it.

Den funkar perfekt till min P420 och gör vad den ska. Lite dyrt för priset med tanke på vad det är för material. It works perfectly for my P420 and does what it's supposed to. A bit expensive for the price considering what kind of material it is.

Przyszło szybko, wszyscy pisali, że pasuje na mikrofon Rode PodMic - ale nie jest to wyszczególnione w opisie produktu. Pasuje doskonale, wygląda i robi robotę. Jak ktoś szuka gąbki na Rode PodMic szczerze polecam.

The Setup: I use the Rode WS2 on both my Rode Procaster and Rode PodMic. My studio rig is built for maximum clarity: I run these mics through Triton FetHeads into a Pyle 12-Channel Mixer, and finally into a Tascam DR-60D MKII. While the Procaster has great internal protection, adding the WS2 is what truly gives me that "radio-ready" sound without any harsh mouth noises. Performance & Audio Clarity: The WS2 is made of high-quality, acoustic-grade foam that tames sharp peaks and heavy air blasts without muffling the high-end detail. Because my FetHeads provide such a clean gain boost, any tiny pop or hiss would be amplified. This shield effectively acts as a physical gate, ensuring only my clear, balanced voice hits the recording. Design & Integration: Perfect Fit: It slips over the large head of the Procaster and the PodMic perfectly. It stays snug and doesn't slide around, even when moving the Rode PSA1+ arm frequently. Low Profile: Unlike those bulky "hoop" style pop filters that block your face on camera, the WS2 is sleek and professional. It looks great in my Canon M50 shots during interviews. Durability: It’s easy to clean and holds its shape well. It doesn't crumble over time like cheap generic foam covers. Final Verdict: If you are serious about your podcast audio and already have the right mount and preamps, don't skip the WS2. It provides that critical final bit of isolation from plosives and breath noise, allowing your Tascam to capture a pristine, broadcast-quality track every time.
