This black windproof umbrella is really sturdy and durable. It also comes with a protective cover, which makes it easy to carry around and store in a bag. The quality feels strong and reliable, especially for windy weather. Honestly, if you live in London, a windproof umbrella is definitely worth investing in because the weather can change quickly and normal umbrellas often break in strong wind. Overall, a great and practical umbrella that does the job well. ☔

I've had brollys that were this size in length, but the canopy opened up larger than this. Those brollys were a bit cheaper too. This brolly is robust [thus far]. The spring trap mechanism is VERY sturdy. Push-button mechanism only requires a LIGHT touch to open the brolly. Push the button again, and the canopy folds back down. Very nice and easy to do, even for a weakling. Here's the part that can't be done by a weakling. It WILL require a bit of strength to push the folded canopy back into the 'closed' position [meaning to shrink the brolly back completely to it's unopened size]. If you are elderly or have strength/mobility issues, I would not recommend that, if you need to miniaturize the brolly a lot [meaning getting it completely back to starting position]. To recap - you unattach the velcro strap to loosen the flap, then you push the button [one-touch] to open it up completely [automatic spring mechanism, very robust]. Then when you are done with the rain, you push the button again and it folds the canopy back. But the extendable pole/stem is still in 'long' position. In order to close/shorten it, will physically require a bit of force to do so. Size of canopy [when opened] quite good, but not brilliant. Overall, pretty decent item. Had it for about 2 months now, used about 10 times. But I felt a little expensive. Take all of this into consideration when buying.

As for the umbrella itself, I believe the issue I had was just an unlucky fault, as this is genuinely the best umbrella I’ve ever owned. It’s very sturdy, easy to use, and feels well made. The automatic open and close works perfectly with just the flick of a switch, and it handles wind far better than any umbrella I’ve had before. Fantastic product backed by a company that truly cares about its customers. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend both the umbrella and the brand.

Nice compact size,flys open with just a touch of the button, a little bit of muscle needed to close it up. Waterproof, disappointed with it blowing inside out even in mild winds....seller reached out,apologised and offered a full refund which I accepted. Thank you.

3 months on and the umbrella broke. Good size, weight and beautiful internal design but the arm snapped too quickly

This umbrella is slightly larger than most compact umbrellas and feels surprisingly sturdy for its size. The opening mechanism works perfectly with the button on the handle. However, closing it is a bit frustrating—you press the same button to close the canopy, but the handle doesn’t retract automatically. You have to press the handle down manually to return the umbrella to its compact position for storage. It can turn inside out in strong winds, but I am still using it a year down the line, so for the time being, I am happy.
