Loved this book from beginning to end...very well written and the characters were great...would definitely recommend for others to read.

I enjoyed this book. A good build up to the ending. The ending was also pretty good. I like it when there's a chapter of six months later. Finishes the story rather nicely

SO far fetched, it felt like the author was trying too hard. It was entertaining and kept me guessing until the end, but the storyline was just not plausible

I do love Ms Slater’s books, they have characters I can relate to but in often bizarre situations with plenty of unexpected twists and turns along the way. This book is no exception and I was intrigued by the strange notion of a dead husband’s girlfriend turning up saying she owned the house and wanting to move in. I did find myself wanting to yell at Jennifer sometimes for being such a pushover, but I enjoyed the book and picked it up every time I had a spare 10 minutes. But I was slightly disappointed by the ending. Although I suspected one or two characters might not be as they seem, I didn’t guess the full outcome which seemed to tie things up a bit to quickly and conveniently. This may be because the book finished at 85% on my Kindle so I was expecting a few more chapters. The last 15% gives a brief extract from some of Ms Slater’s other books, some of which I have already read, so I did feel a bit cheated.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book from start to finish

I enjoyed the concept of this storyline. The aspects of betrayal, manipulation, holding to ransom, greed and revenge were dealt with well. Overall it held my attention well and made me want to get more from this author.

I love K.L.Slater her writing never fails to excite me!I really enjoyed this fast paced novel, full of twists through out which grips the reader in every page. I highly recommend this book if you enjoy Psychological Thrillers….4 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️

I’m almost finished this book and I have enjoyed it immensely. It’s written from different perspectives and keeps you guessing. Highly recommend

This was a great read. I could not put this book down! It had a lot of crazy, you will be pulled into this family drama. When you dig yourself into a corner many things can happen. I loved it but didn’t love the rushed ending and all the crazy that came along with it, but still a 5 star read for me.
