Makes superb quality bread.
After a Panasonic that eventually dies we took a chance on this bread maker. What a good decision, follow the recipes in the manual and you can't go wrong. It makes lovely fluffy bread and it's easy to use. And for the money!!. Highly recommended.

Good value
Only used it once so far, made a basic white loaf that came out really nice. Compact size ,quite easy to operate. Not to impressed with the quality of the cup and measuring spoons that are supplied with it would have been better if they were stainless steel instead of plastic, but for the price can’t complain.

Reasonable priced bread maker
I bought this to replace a 30+ year old Hinari that has given sterling service, but I decided to retire it, due to the Teflon lining of the pan starting to wear off, and the plastic lid starting to smell of 'Old plastic' I replaced the mixing pan bearing and seal around 6 years ago, but It doesn't look like the new one is designed to have this done, should it ever need it.. The new one has a tough act to follow.. I have only made one loaf so far using a recipe that doesn't contain dried milk powder or oil. For reference, 17.5 oz (500g)of strong bread flour,1.5 tsp of caster sugar, 1.5 tsp of salt,1/2 oz of butter, and 11.2 oz of tepid water and 2 tsp of powdered yeast.( we had only imperial scales when we bought the first bread maker..) This turned out quite well, if a little well done, using the medium crust colour, and the 1 1/2 lb loaf size. This new bread maker has quite a bit more functionality, and can bake different size loaves, so some experimentation with quantities and settings will I'm sure make delicious fresh bread... The enclosed instruction book, like other reviews have said, is a little strange, but a set of digital scales make the precise measuring quite straightforward.

BEWARE THE PAN HANDLE SUPPORTS!!!! Not the best quality build but works fine.
BEWARE THE PAN HANDLE SUPPORTS!!!! Works fine ,my first attempt was the world's greatest tasting wholemeal doorstop. Added too much year so it sagged in the middle. There is one thing however, the plates riveted on to hold the pan handle on mines top edge's hadn't been rounded or deburred so were razor sharp and cut my hand first use. Thankfully I had some emery cloth to rub it down. Was quite a deep long cut so beware and check yours before use.
